I always dread buying oils in sets because I always get several I don't need or want. I'm pretty simple when it comes to oils, I only use a select few and have no use for anything else. This means I have dozens of little bottles sitting around unopened from all the box sets I've purchased. This time, I was determined to find a set of just the oils I wanted (or as many as possible). I branched out from my usual brand and let me tell you, trying a new brand of oils is nerve-wracking! I don't know how they will smell (and no, they don't smell the same! Different brands can smell worlds different!), I don't know if they will be something I can use, etc. Along with my usual oils eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree, and lavender, this time around I wanted an orange oil. We live in the country, we battle ants constantly! I read about an oil mixture that helps with ants and needed the orange (I was surprised I didn't already have any lol). I came across this set and was happy to discover all oils I use or wanted, while I don't use lemongrass much I do use it so all oils in this set were going to be put to use. And yes, I read reviews, I read lots of the reviews before purchasing. Buying oils I'm not use to makes me nervous because I have severe migraines and have gotten oils in the past that quite honestly smelled horrible and were triggers instead of helping me. So I ordered, I opened the bottles and the smells were spot on! I actually like these a little more then some I've used in the past! I think to date, I've used all but the lemongrass. I use these in our diffusers not only for my migraines but for my daughter to help her breathe and sleep better. I have of course used them to battle our ants lol I love the smell of these oils and they last a long time! I'm thrilled to find a set where none go to waste!
