An extremely accurate read
As someone who has served in the Army I cannot recommend this book more. It’s honest, detailed and most importantly extremely helpful for anyone thinking about joining or wanting a recap on army life. Well worth the read, couldn’t recommend more!

Well with the read. What happened afterwards at Battalion? Another book needed I think .Let me know when it’s ready.

It didnt arrive
Like the fitness book that I ordered at the sdame time, it never arrived.A second book was ordered and is a very good read for someone wishing to join the Army.My son has read it and passed it to me to read and I have:Its not going to win any prizes but I would say its a must for any person joining the Army, male or female and joining the infantry. Its a day to day and week to week acount of a person joining the British Army, The Rifles Regiment, and their journey from civilian to passing out.Its appears to be exceptionally honest and gives a clear indication of what a recruit shoul expect.I would heavily recommend any person joining the infantry to read it.
