Stylish Slim Protection for the Pixel 6a
Spigen Rugged Armor cases are my go-to for several reasons. They offer a relatively slim encasement, provide moderate protection, and offer a professional appearance. They're also grippy without making them difficult to pocket. My last Rugged Armor case, for the Pixel 3a XL has served me well for over three years. My last attached photo shows the Pixel 6a case (left) and my three-year-old Pixel 3a XL case (right), if you're curious about how they compare in size or how these hold up. This Spigen case is relatively slim, only slightly thicker than the Pixel 3a XL case, but that's because the Pixel 6a is slightly thicker. It'll fit my pocket and my dash mount, no problem. At first I expected it to be super thick to protect the 6a's camera bar. It's not so bad, the back's material is about 2mm thick. Dimensions are shown in the attached photos. The length of the case is just over 6 inches. My calipers tapped out after that. (We'll never know the actual length, I guess.) Width is a hair under 3 inches. The height is as advertised at approx. 0.47 inches. Protection afforded by the Rugged Armor series is moderate. Remember, these cases are not huge rubber bricks like their "marsupial" competitors. That's a main reason for my repeated purchasing. I want something I can slip into my pocket without having to clip onto my belt. (Sorry all you bat-dads out there, I'm hanging on to what little dignity I have left.) The design of this case with respect to cushioning and materials is essentially identical to the one I've used on my Pixel 3a XL for the last three years. I've carried it every single day since then. It's been bumped and dropped too many times to count, but the phone has survived without any cracks, chips, or scratches as a result. Over time dust and grit can work its way between the case and phone causing some surface wear, but that is easily remedied with occasional cleaning. I don't know if the "Air Cushioning" feature is legit or a gimmick, but my phone is still mint after all this time. The styling of this 6a case is reapectable. The faux carbon fiber inlays, top and bottom of the back, are convincing. They reflect light like the real thing, as can be seen in my first photo. They're also inset, so they should be somewhat resistant to cosmetic wear. The finish is matte and grippy, even more so than my last Rugged Armor case. The first photo also does a pretty good job of capturing the texture. Additionally, I really like the scalloped or carved texture on the sides of the phone. That will help me hang on during the extreme sports I don't play. Maybe one day. I was curious to see how this case would protect the camera bar. The stock photos make it look like there could be a raised ring to protect the lens from damage. The top of the bar is raised in relation to the carbon fiber inlays, but is in-plane with the rest of the back. We'll see if the 2mm thick material is enough to keep the lens off of table tops when the phone rests on its back. The lip around the front of the case will keep screen from contacting a flat tabletop if laid face down. Big fan of that feature. Don't expect it to save your screen from a drop on gravel or asphalt, though. That's not something this style of case can mitigate. The cuts for the speaker ports and USB-C charging port seem adequate. I would have liked a slightly larger opening for greater compatibility with the most bulky USB-C accessories, but it is larger than the opening on the 3a XL case. I don't expect any real issues. The buttons are cut through around portions of their peripheries. That makes them easy to press and preserves the tactile function of the phone's buttons beneath. This is also shown in one of the attached photos. Overall, this seems like another quality Spigen Rugged Armor case. I've relied on these models for years, and they've always served me well. I'm pleased with the improved styling and slim profile for the Pixel 6a. The slightly larger USB-C port is also a welcome feature, although it could be a little larger. Comfort and grip are excellent, while still allowing easy pocketing. For now, I'm completely satisfied with this purchase, but I will report back if my assessment changes. Thanks for reading!

another perfect fit
My 7th different model Spigen case (really, I counted), and I wouldn't buy another brand now. At least for how I use my phone, it's pretty much perfect. This one goes on my new Pixel 6a and like all the others is a perfect fit for the specific device. Older versions sometimes took a little use to break-in the TPU in areas that flex (like the cover on the power and volume buttons) but recent versions have been ready to go from first use. No break-in period. What I like in general: * Edge protection with a raised lip so you can safely put the device face down, but without a giant rim to catch crumbs. * Textured enough to not slip, but not so much to get stuck in jeans. * Perfect cut-outs where needed. All of my cables fit the ports properly. * No rough edges or poor finishes, everything looks polished. * Raised lip prevents accidental presses at the edges, but doesn't interfere with any part of the screen. * Anonymity for the device if you're carrying a high-end model somewhere it might be eye-catching. Other thoughts or concerns: * If you have 2 devices, the rubber is higher friction between the two cases if they live in the same pocket or bag (it is meant to not slip, after all). * The black case hides your pretty case color and makes it easier to leave the device behind on a dark surface. * If you're movement or strength impaired, the buttons do take slightly more effort to press through the TPU. You may consider Spigen's other version which leaves the buttons exposed. * The screen is not protected against direct strikes to the middle by something smaller than the width of the case. In my experience that's very rare, but the case will not protect against that if it happens. Overall, like every Spigen Rugged Armor I've used, it's just right for the job. I carry my phones in a lot of random places and it's nice to not have to worry about dropping or bumping them. The Pixel 6a in particular is VERY slippery (it'll slide off even a slightly slanted surface) so highly recommend putting a case on your 6a, especially this one.

Used Spigen for over a decade, awesome cases!
I've ran Spigen Rugged cases for over a decade now and , they've always protected my phones and I'm pretty hard on them since I'm outdoors a lot and always taking photos. I also have my partner use them now and it's saved his phone many times and he's a welder. I like that the case has ridges so that it won't sit directly on the screen or camera (I usually set my phone screen down so nothing gets dropped on the screen / screen facing me when it's in my pocket). The case always gets scratched up (naturally) since I'm so rough on my stuff but the phone is always safe! The stand on the back has always lasted longer than the phone itself but I don't use it every day. The case itself may be a little thicker than other cases but for good reason (protection and because of the stand). It's easy to install / pop out when you need to. I admit I think I've gotten a little too comfortable dropping my phone because I'm never worried about it breaking unless I drop it screen side down on a rock but - not the case's fault if that happens. I've only killed one phone and it was last week and again, not the case's fault. I water logged it trying to get a picture of a salamander (haha). I dropped it on some rocks and it bounced into the creek. Thought I was golden and was so glad to have Spigen to protect my phone / screen because that was a hardcore drop + bounce off the rocks. I used my phone for the next 15 minutes thinking everything was fine then I saw foggy camera lenses and knew water had gotten inside. Over the next 2 hours the phone turned itself off and on and then eventually fried itself. Turns out the glue they use to seal it was poorly done on the screen for the refurbish and water easily slipped past. But phones and water have never mixed well anyway. First phone down! I bought another phone and I'll put it in the same case, first time doing so. My phones have always been protected and I upgrade them and the case at the same time (they last with the phone which is awesome). Thanks for all the years Spigen and here's to many more!

Rock-Solid Protection With One Small Tip
I used the Spigen Liquid Air case on my Pixel 6a for nearly 3 years, and in that time, the phone survived multiple accidental drops without a single crack or dent. The case provided excellent shock absorption while keeping a slim profile and great grip—never felt bulky or slippery in the hand. I just packed up my 6a to trade in, and now my new Pixel 9a is already wearing the same case model. That should say a lot about how much I trust Spigen’s design and durability. One tip I’d offer future buyers: periodically remove the case and clean both the phone and the inside of the case. Over time, small particles like dust can get trapped and act like sandpaper. The only blemish on my 6a was scuff marks in the same pattern as the case interior on the back where dirt likely built up under the case. Other than that, this case has been near-perfect—durable, protective, and comfortable to use. Highly recommended for long-term use.

There is a reason for that 4.7 star rating
We all know that phone cases are different. One model is not like the other. But......... if a manufacturer puts out a lousy case for a Galaxy phone, then it's likely that same company's LG phone case sucks big time as well. Spigen makes a damn good phone case period. I've had it over a year and it looks like new. It doesn't scuff, it doesn't stain, it shrugs off water like the back of a duck and the fit? Well the fit is PERFECT. The way spigen cases fit is amazing. They seem to meld into the bezel of the phones to create an almost impenetrable seal. This is the third different phone I've used Spigen cases on and the important thing to consider is that nothing, absolutely nothing on the phones was compromised in its use. Either the screen, camera, buttons, speakers..........everything works as if there was no case on the phone at all. Well, that's what you expect from a phone case right? But I can tell ya, with other brands that's not always what you get. As I get older......I drop shit. Yeah that's something you can look forward to. But it is nice to know that someone who uses this case and has dropped their phone several times has never broke it right? Look at the price. Look at the reviews. 95 percent of over 4500 people rated this case very high. What do you want for 15 bucks?

It's good
I got this case for my dad and he absolutely likes it. He loves the color I got him the classic black case. He likes that it is light weight and the screen protector.

Well Made and Reasonably Priced
I have purchased Spigen Mobile Phone Cases over the years for different make phones such as One Plus, Motorola and in this case a Pixel 6a. All have been durable with one exception, a clear plastic model which became stretched out over time. Otherwise the all black Spigen cases have been durable, allow a firm gripping surface, and have protected occasionally dropped phones. The phone cases fit all the various models of phone manufacturers with no problem in their various configurations. Black is pretty much my choice. The clear plastic color phone case lasted about a year and a half but became a little loose, perhaps from to much pocketing and unpocketing.

Perfect grippy and protective case for all my phones
This has become my number one case for various phones I've had in the past and present. Latest is for the Pixel 6a. I've tried many other cases on different phones, but this one just hits the sweet spot. What I like most is the diagonal "grip marks" on both sides. So many cases are too slippery - but not this one. When you pick up your phone, you get a solid, sure grip with your fingers. When it's in your hand, same thing. I've drdopped my phones a few times, and none of my phones have ever been damaged while in this case. The buttons always have the right amount of pressure, click, and responsiveness. The small lip around the edges keeps your screen off of the surface when facing down. Excellent design.

I wouldn't have a phone without this
With the amount of drops and dinks my phone has been through since I bought it, this case has probably saved it more than once. And even if it's not being mutilated my phone has to live through a lot, I accidentally left it on the stove right after I turned it off and the molten plastic smelled awful enough for me to notice without any major damage. The case is thick enough and molded just right to still protect your phone for a reasonable amount of time in situations like that, I carry my, slightly molten, case with pride and would get the same one in a heartbeat if this one had to go.

Perfect cover for Google Pixel 6A only
It so perfect item for Google Pixel 6A, fits well, covers the edges, it has even bumpers in all four corners. So tough and handy, doesn't let the phone slip from grip. Moreover the edges also protect the screen. Loved it.

Looks and feels great.
Fits my Pixel 6a well! I was initially worried the surface would be rough, but it has a nice feel to it. The carbon fiber is a nice touch and matches my gaming desk and other accessories. The buttons are a little louder than I'd like but no biggie. Recommended!
