It's not expensive. It's an investment!
Absolutely amazing bag! I use it a lot and it's amazing. Durable, glides in airports and am amazing capacity. It's a bit heavy but the durability outweighs that con. I pack it to 25kg often and the handles cope. It's now a free years old and still going strong after almost daily use.

Worth getting one at sale time!
Managed to get one at 27% off in an Amazon online sale a few weeks ago & haven't regretted it!First used it a couple of weeks ago on a trip to Athens & on boarding the British Airways aircraft I was able to easily stow it in the overhead locker front ways i.e. the top handle was facing outwards (hope that makes sense!). Even though it weighed almost 12kgs the stewardess was impressed how easy it was to lift & place safely into the locker. Thank you BA for having such a generous cabin baggage allowance compared to many of your competitors! It's the compression system that's the game changer for me as I do tend to pack higher than the 25cms height that's BA's limit then press it down when closed to ensure it's within their rules. I also mostly use cube packing which certainly helps keep things organised too.Up until now I've only had 2 wheels cabin bags (we do also have the 2 wheel Baseline carry-on which my wife used on this trip) but it was a relatively smooth switch to steering the 4 wheeler through the airport & public transport links though a couple of times the handle didn't easily lock in place properly though I don't think it's a B&R fault but more mine for not ensuring it was definitely secure.Certainly worth it...especially at a sale price!!!

Expensive but good quality
I thought very hard before spending so much on a suitcase but, having viewed various brands in store and spoken to satisfied owners of B&R luggage I decided to buy one. I think it will prove to be a sensible purchase.

Almost Perfect
My new Briggs & Riley Suitcase arrived today. It looks great and the construction of the suitcase is really good. As there is no integrated lock Briggs & Riley supply a Briggs & Riley branded cable lock. The only problem is that the lock doesn't work and it is £19.99 to replace it. Other than the suitcase is perfect.

Fantastic travel bags
I had purchased a Briggs and Riley wheeled carry-on and overnight bag a number of years ago at a high-end luggage store. When I needed a larger bag, I couldn’t find a match locally. Enter Amazon. They had the exact bag I needed. I’ve done a fair amount of travelling and they still look like new. They’re extremely durable (great zippers and reinforced corners), lots of pockets, easy to manoeuvre and they look classy. They are a bit more expensive, but you’re definitely paying for a high quality product. I doubt I’ll ever need to replace these.

Wonderful space, wheels glide, LT warranty. Retractable handle has play is concern.
Coming from 13 years of a Tumi 22-inch, 2-wheeled Alpha, was expecting alot of this product, as it is widely viewed as the best in the market. The lifetime warranty is what really convinced me to buy, when there was a sale and got this for $500.Got the 21 inch global model, as I don't want to have to stress in the slightest for dimension checks around the world. Have used for about 15 trips thus far.Positives:Love the room as the handle being mounted outside does make a difference when packing.Compression system is very good. I do worry about how it will hold up, but that is where the lifetime warranty comes in to quell concerns. Good innovation here as it basically takes your packing cubes into compression packs when CX system is compressed.Wheels make for pretty effortless navigation on hard surfaces. Carpet and uneven concrete/asphalt you do have to pull it or risk catching. Seem very sturdy.Side and top hand handles are wonderful and sturdy.Do like the very small top zippered outside compartment at the top. Can keep the smart strap stored in there. Good location.Being 21 inch Global model will never have to worry about measurements at any airport.Smart strap works as advertised with the other checked luggage in BR line. Tumi's was good, this is equal.Negatives:Heavy at 9.9 pounds. This is not ideal, but part of the trade offs in getting a features packed bag I think.Retractable handle. I have been disappointed, it isn't more sturdy. I can feel the play in the handle when I push on 4 wheels. Certainly works well for now, but Tumi has a more solid feel as it is embedded. I have a feeling this will have to be addressed sooner rather than later with the lifetime warranty. The tri-fold garmet holder I haven't figured out yet. Used numerous times and don't really feel it does a great job, but after all I'm sure they debated on the wording. It is "wrinkle reducing" not wrinkle free. Hopeful to try different methods in future as the foam roll bar should be a big plus. One zipper has already fallen off outside, but that could be an anomaly.OverallGreat bag, huge space, good innovation with compression system, wheels are sturdy and glide. Really concerns about it lasting are covered by the lifetime warranty. I'm not near a repair center however, which means it will be a pain to get anything done, not painless. Biggest concern and why it isn't 5 stars are the retractable handle, it isn't solid and has play, when pushing on anything but flat hard surfaces, you really feel the play.As it is a lifetime warranty it really should be the last carry on bag I buy.

I cannot say enough things about how amazing this thing is.
The Wirecutter recommended this as their 'upgrade pick'. It's expensive but my previous spinner bag had a busted wheel and after a long tour of duty I felt it was time for something new. Something nice. I treated myself to this bag and I'm so glad I did. I quickly added a duffel bag / underseat carryon bag which helpfully fits right on the handles of this 22 inch spinner bag. I can walk around in an airport at a fast pace deftly maneuvering this 4-wheeled wonder through even the busiest terminals. But getting there is only half the fun, what's it like when you get there? This bag is unbelievably well designed with thought given to how to make use of every cubic inch of space. A zippered pouch lined orange for small items. A pocket for travel documents. Room for three hangers of clothing. A large front pocket perfect for my MacBook Air. With all the main supports heavily armored with tough plastic to not only provide protection of the goods inside but also serving to maximize the internal space. It might feel a tiny bit loosey-goosey but this is absolutely to the thing's benefit. The bend-dont-break model makes this an incredibly robust piece of luggage. Able to stand up to the daily abuses of travel even if that travel is an extended period of time. I spent 34 days on the road in the fall 2023 with this Briggs & Riley 22-inch spinner bag and was always grateful to have it as my constant companion on an unforgettable trip.

Great carry on!
Love the case! Very well built and great quality. Glides very smoothly. Compression system is awesome. It is in the heavier side though so might run into weight issues with airlines. Slightly wider for continental flight- again you could run into with cabin storage issues with smaller aircraft. The suiter is not as good as Tumi. I would like to see an hangar for the suiter and a slightly bigger compartment, weight reduced, slightly, and more height adjustments for the handle. Overall great product.
