Nice and heavy and very easy to clean.

The best part is making flat bacon with no uncooked fat curls on the end. It didn't occur to me that it also stops grease from splattering during cooking. Nice! When using it on hamburgers, the slow constant pressure makes the meat leaner. This makes a healthier burger, but it makes the meat drier at the same time. The wood grip is nice, but I wish it were a rectangular plastic tube. When you lift it off the food, the weight resists rotating it to set it to the side. If it slips in your hand, it can burn you knuckles. The wood looks so nice, I hate to put it in the dishwasher.

I bought this mainly to put on my bacon since I like it crisp. I chose a round one, because my frying pan is round, It works perfectly to keep the bacon flat in my 10" pan. If you wash it right away, it is very easy to clean. However, if you wait, you may need to soak it for a minute to clean it easily. I would recommend this product.

Great product! This press is a replacement for a cast iron bacon press that was WAY to heavy and very difficult to clean. This press is heavy enough to flatten the bacon but easy to maneuver and easy to clean. So glad I got it!

My go to use for this has become using it for half of a sandwich press. I preheat both it and enameled cast iron stovetop griddle plate I have, relatively low heat is fine. Sandwich goes on the griddle, the disk goes on top of the sandwich. About 3 minutes later I have a pressed, ready to eat sandwich. Clean up is a non issue, it just gets tossed in the dishwasher as needed.

No more crinkled up bacon. Also minimizes grease splatter from cooking bacon.

This was a gift for my daughter. I was surprised how and big it was, and it was a quality item. She was very pleased and because of its size, it can be used for many items being cooked.

This is a nice size that had just enough weight to work with various meats and thicknesses. It will speed the cooking process so you must use a lower heat and check internal temps more often. Bacon comes out really nice and evenly cooked edge to edge, but it will be bacon bit texture if you are not watchful. I use parchment paper disk for burgers, chops, chicken, etc., but not for bacon. It makes it non stick and clean up is really easy. The large size keeps splatters and mess to a minimum. The product itself is a grade of stainless that is magnetic, but I had no issues with it getting hot using it on an inductive cook top. I would change the wooden handle to a high heat plastic one for more hygienic use and durability. I would also round out the outer edge and weld rather than rivet the item. Overall, I think that the item is very good value at $35.

It is large and weighty, which is fine for me. Works really well.

This is a great tool for the kitchen if you like to make steaks, burgers, or anything else that applies. easy to clean and has a good weight to it. nice flat smooth bottom. love it.
