Blank Genealogy Forms Starter Kit (7 types/40 sheets) by EasyGenie

Did the job well

I really liked this bundle. The forms are easy to use, have plenty of room on each line to add notes, and I liked that the paper was a little heavier than the printer paper I have at home. My only wish is that the forms were offered in an "unbundled" form. I bought this product primarily for the family group sheet and pedigree chart, and wish I could buy more without having to buy the other forms included. I also with the family group sheets had a few more spaces for additional children, because as I get farther back into history, many of my ancestors had more than 8 children, which is all the form has space for; to fix this, I would up copying the children lines again on the back of the form to give myself space for up to 16 children. All in all though, these forms were just what I was looking for.

Forms are easy to use, but not much room to write, so I really need the large print forms instead. Two reasons I did not give 5 stars: The content quantity of certain forms doesn’t match the “What’s Inside” description. (For instance, should be 4 sheets of research log, but only 2 in package.) I’m a stickler for things like that. Also, the descriptions of the other packages available on the advertisement page do not match the title of the package itself. (The “Fan Chart” package shows the description of the “Blank Forms Starter Kit” and vice versa.) The company should proof their documents/packages in full before they send them out.

These forms were just what I was looking for. There were several different ways to capture important information. The paper is a heavy weight and should stand the test of time! I am so impressed that I will be ordering a couple more sets so I can start recording different branches of the family!! Great job, Forms are a life saver!!

The blue sheet in the picture says there are 50 sheets total...there are only 40:(

I just love the paper the forms are printed on. It's a heavier paper (but not card stock) and the pre-punched forms fit beautifully into a 3-ring binder. There is a lot of space on the Family Group Sheet and Five Generation Pedigree Chart for me to record my information and there is plenty of room on the back to cite my references. The only thing I find fault with is that there is only room for eight children on the Family Group Sheet because some of my ancestors had ten to twelve children. It would be perfect if there was a second section for children on the back of the Family Group Sheet (right now I am using two sheets when there are more than eight children). I am very excited about getting my family tree organized and these sheets are very easy to use.

Good for Genealogy work

I purchased these for my sister-in-law at Christmas. We bought a notebook to put them in and she absolutely loves the way this is organized and printed out. I highly recommend this.
