This has become my go-to
60 grit is what I use most. It's aggressive and it leaves a great base to start with on most refinishing projects. I will no longer use diablo or any other brand. For the money, you can't beat the value that you get from a box of 100 60 grit disks at this price. You can't. I'm on my third box, I can't believe how much money I've lost by buying more expensive brands. This is my go-to now.

Nitty gritty and does a fantastic job
They’re very tough and gritty so don’t stay in one place too long unless that’s what you want. Cut my time down tremendously and is better than chemicals

twice the product at half the cost and better quality.
These are Better than the sanding pads I used to purchase from Lowes. The sanding discs are more durable and higher quality. I am very satisfied with these discs and will be purchasing all my discs from this brand/company on Amazon. It is like twice the product at half the cost and better quality.

Second Time To Purchase
I’m sanding 100+ year old pine ship lap walls with 60 grit getting it ready to paint. Challenges include grime, frayed wood, wall paper tacks, wall paper glue along the edges, gaps, cracks, splinters and knots. This wood is harder than today’s pine and has much more resin (smells like Pine Sol when sanding). I’m able to get about 30sf done before I notice a difference in efficacy and am able to continue to about 60sf before I feel the need to change discs. I’m using a Makita BO5031 sander connected to a shop vac via custom attachment. This helps greatly with dust management. The fact that these discs have 8 holes for dust uptake like my sander pad is one reason I decided to try these. They stick well to my hook pad. I give a brief brush of the pad when changing discs to prevent build up of dust which can cause the disc to not stick as well. Sand paper/discs are consumables as is the pad on your sander. If your discs don’t stick you probably need a new pad.
