I used one of these along with a 2000cc in a 6 gallon bucket and it was enough to suck that bag of beans down into a hard brick the next day. They came well packaged and when I unsealed the package to get a couple out, the oxy absorbers were still nice and flexible which is how you really tell if an o2 absorber is still useful. I used my foodsaver to vacuseal the rest up in a foodsaver bag to use for later. Have all your bags ready to seal and make sure to only take out as many as you need in the next 20 minutes then seal up the rest.

while not costly these are fantastic 02 packs they are easy to use i use them in tandem with my Two-Quart/Half Gallon 5 Mil Ziplock Genuine Mylar Bags (20, 50 or 100) Two-Quart/Half Gallon 5 Mil Ziplock Genuine Mylar Bags (10"x10") (100) and its a match made in heaven i would not know what to do with out them. all of them worked fine 0% failure rating as i have had with other products of the same type none were used or hard (activated) over all fantastic quality

love that they come in two separate bags, these work great for whatever you need to remove oxygen from. Not for me but my friend just loves them and keeps going back for more.

They are great to pack away food for our preparedness kits. Awesome stuff! They come in handy for any emergency use or preservation needs without affecting the integrity of your foods or whatever you need to keep moisture out.

I have ordered many Oxyfree adsorbers and this (it was a huge order) was my first experience with Oxysorb. One package came without a status indicator, I trusted it anyway. They did not function as my others, and were unable to create a small vaccum inside of small canning jars, even when I used two. Another package arriving shortly later (300cc) without any status indicator. My 2000cc adsorbers were unable to "finish off" the vaccum in my 5 gallon bucket of rice, and two in combo were unable to do it in a 5 gallon bucket of beans. The thing with adsorbers is that they must be packaged and handled right to be of high quality when they arrive at your home. A simple visual inspection won't work and it is often hard to identify a failure if you also used a foodsaver type of product. Do not trust your long term food investment to this product unless you know your stuff and can check for function. I recommend Oxyfree brand from known seller instead of this product. Please be careful and do not trust this product, or maybe just this sellers re-packaging of this product. Leave one absorber out for an hour or two to see if it gets hot, or seal it with a small amount of air in a foodsaver bag to see if it functions!!

I am always very happy with my purchases from this vendor. They are well-packaged, come quickly, and are exactly what is portrayed on the page. The 500cc Oxygen absorbers are my standby size - I use them for most of my long-term storage needs as filler in buckets and in Mylar bags.

Have bought many of these, perfect for preserving food in Mylar bags. Be sure to prepare for use to limit the time the absorbers are exposed to air. Step 1 Get all your bags ready to seal. Step 2 Open oxygen absorber package and quickly place oxygen absorbers into each bag. Step 3 Seal remaining oxygen absorbers ASAP vacuum seal or at least remove as much air as possible. Step 4 Seal Mylar bags.

Perfect, works well. I put this bag in a hermetic jar to keep intact some iron procucts. No oxydation appears after 2 months.

Easy to fold & stuff in narrow necked bottles, full of rice, and wont break. They seem quite durable to handle and came in 2 pkgs of 50/pkg. I used 1 pkg and will keep the other pkg unopened for future use.
