The "KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment for Stand Mixer 2 Quart, KSMICM, White" is wonderful! Easy to use, easy to clean, and instructions are spot on. All you do is freeze the bowl 16-24 hours ahead of time, attach frozen bowl to mixer, and pour in your recipe to begin- with a whisk of course! The attachment is as quiet as any other and had my family of 6 a small bowl of ice cream ready in about 30 minutes. There are many recipes out, but we chose a quick recipe just to try! My kids LOVE being part of ice cream making now, and we are super happy with our purchase.

I should haved bought this a long tiime ago. Ice cream maker is perfect!
Love this addition to my Kitchenaid mixer. I will never buy any ice cream again. I've made peach, strawberry, blueberry, lemon, (ice cream, sorbet and gelato), Baileys, and I'm just starting. Your limited to your imagination and the number of containers I have. It's so easy to use. I freeze the container for at least two days before I want to use it. I also put my ingredients together the night before and put it in the fridge. Once I'm ready to make the ice cream, I pull out the maker from the freezer and immediately use the fridge-cold mix. My ice cream takes a lot less time than the recipe says. I should have bought this a long time ago. The ice cream is so good: no preservatives, colouring of aritifical flavours. Pure and natural. This is a great addition and works very well. No I need to buy more ice cream containers (insulated from Amazon) so that can make more varieties. Summer is coming!

LOVE! Such a great attachment.
So glad I purchased this! I have noticed how awful store bought ice cream has made me feel. Once I saw the huge ingredient list, I knew I wanted to try to make my own. This attachment is perfect. It is a great size, it makes a 2ltr tub of ice cream easily without making a mess. The instructions were clear, it works just as it says it will and having a new kitchenaid mixer the noise level is low. Just make sure to freeze the bowl for 24 hours before using!
