This couldn't have been simpler. Park on a level surface, clean your dashboard, pull off the double stick tape and press down. Easy Peezy. If you aren't already on a flat surface it's easy to calibrate it. Find the flat surface. You can check that it's flat by using a level. Once confirmed the whole globe can rotate forward and backward to center the indicator. Once you have it set there is nothing left to do. It will read your tilt and incline.I had an electronic inclinometer that had issues besides finding a power source. This is back to the basic and it works without an issue. It's well worth the price and is easy to install and setup.

Cheap POS. The mount doesn’t pivot far enough to mount anywhere that isn’t close to level itself. Windshield is a no-go. Dash is a no-go. Even the roof doesn’t work.

I did buy this item. It's okay. It should be 5 dollars. It works ok but do not think that this is a professional. Item...it's not!

Bought it to fill a blank switch in my Suzuki x90! Doesn’t feel like the greatest quality and it’s pretty hard to read unless you are also exactly level with it. Also shakes around a lot if you want to use it for actual off road use. But I just got it for decoration so it’s perfect!

Not as "cheap" as described in some comments, its actually sturdy heavy duty plastic that with match my 2015 Jeep interior. It has a 3M sticker at the bottom, so it's fully-equipped for attaching to your dash.The dial itself - the important part - functions perfectly. Gauge moves freely, and it's easy to adjust for both angle of grade and tilt. Now instead of estimating the grade of the hills I've climbed, I'll know exactly what I can brag about!Great deal at a fantastic price. I didn't expect much, and I'm glad I went ahead & got it. I didn't need it wasn't anything huge - I just wanted functionality. This does that, plus it's sturdy & not too bad looking either.

It arrived in pieces, which were easy for me to reassemble. That right there shows how cheap and flimsy the item is. When it’s assembled correctly it appears to be accurate but honestly the outer ring moves every time I touch it. When I was trying different spots in my console it kept moving and falling apart again. I guess I could glue it together but honestly I think I’ll just get a better one.
