These are exactly as advertised. What I really like is that I used them to angle a large, long TV speaker and they stick to the wood surface that I am using them on, so they don't slip.

They don’t break down

Ok, I didn't completely read the entire listing before I bought these but I still had to make them work. These are meant for furniture, not something like window a/c units. However mine was draining too bad out the front for me to wait. You can get these to have quite the angle on them especially if you stack them on top of each other. They will have some GOOD slip resistance because after stacking them on each other alone they will hardly budge. However for getting them under something they don't have the sturdiness to really hammer under something so whatever you're using these for may just need to be picked up. They do seem to hold weight well so far. I have four stacked on top of each other on two areas of my ac unit and they are doing their job well. They are more soft than sturdy but I can see them getting the job done.

I use these shims to level a toilet that had been placed on a 1920s porch so the floor was sloped. They worked tremendous easily trimmed good solid lift. I highly recommend.

I have a 2008 Ford Expedition. The front passenger-side window kept sliding down little by little, causing annoying roaring or whistling air sounds through the crack. I would push the window up and it would start coming down again. I tried numerous things — cardboard, wood shims, Command hooks and more — but nothing worked very well. I bought these clear plastic shims and they have solved the problem. I have not had any sliding at all! For my vehicle, they have worked very well!

These did the job as needed, I had a display cabinet that was uneven - leaning forward slightly. I wanted to prop it up but also not have something clearly visible, this does the trick. Hard but with some cushion so it works well, the little notches even helped by allowing gradual movements. Easy to use and decent size.
