ECG interpretation is an essential skill in emergency medicine. This collection of 100+ cases covers both fundamental and advanced concepts and provides detailed interpretations that will sharpen, or keep sharp, your ECG reading skills. There are more than 400 annotated high-resolution images designed to maximize pattern recognition. You can work through the cases randomly or by topic (regular wide-complex tachycardias, T-wave alternans, lead reversal, biventricular paced rhythms, syncope, etc.). This resource is for new or experienced emergency physicians, nurses, PAs, NPs, EMS, and medical students looking to improve their pattern recognition and knowledge of emergency ECGs. Review: Fantastic learning tool and reference - The quality of ECGs here is superb and the concise explanations and layout of cases followed by learning points makes this book sensible for self-directed learning (I actually get to practice thinking through each one before seeing the “answer”) and ideal as a review text. Kindle format makes highlighting easy, would recommend this as a fantastic learning tool and reference to anyone who feels intimidated by ECGs like me. Review: Phenomenal book! - This is a great case-based book that covers both fundamental and advanced EKG topics. The pictures are amazing and explanations are thorough and detailed. And there are downloadable EKG Greeting cards which are hilarious. I would recommend this book for anyone looking to improve their EKG interpretation skills.

Would give it a 10 star review
Love the way the cases are presented. Super clear pictures you can zoom in and out of. Walks you through the ECG read and what you should think about. Great for quick learning, or teaching!! Absolutely recommend this.

Great book, but NOT for Kindle on pc
Wish the authors had mentioned this in their description of the book on the Amazon page. In the Kindle book itself, they do acknowledge that Kindle on a personal computer (pc) is not the best. They recommend a tablet so you can zoom into the ECG tracing. Zoom/magnification functionality for images is currently NOT possible with a pc-based Kindle app; Even the CTRL+ is locked out on the app. The content (text) is great! Love learning the in-depth material! But I don't own a Kindle device or a tablet, so the actual ECGs are barely useful. Screenshot illustrates what I see. Four stars because the general product description could have mentioned this Kindle issue. I would have paid more for the physical book if I was aware of this before buying the Kindle version, but I'm not purchasing two copies (Kindle and paperback).

Actual content is great but the binding is terrible. Almost 100 pages have fallen out and it is brand new.
