Great copper cap for my mailbox post
This is a beautiful finishing touch for my new mailbox post. It is thick and heavy enough, fits perfectly and looks great. I haven't decided if I want to permanently attach it or not. I like the copper color, so I may want to be able to take it off and polish it to keep it from tarnishing over time.

Highly Recommend
I ordered 11 caps and they arrived promptly. Each piece was individually wrapped for protection. They fit perfectly over my 6x6 posts. These are a thick enough gauge of solid copper that will last a long time and have no deflection of the material. Also, the cheapest price I found for this item

Solid copper post cap
These solid copper caps look nice and should last forever. Just beware that they don't fit on 6×6 pressure treated posts. You'll need to trim the top of the post down until the cap fits. It's not a big deal to do, but it is an extra step. I used my Sawzall to cut in the post a quarter inch in and a half inch down. And chiseled out the wood until the cap fits. I'll be buying more soon.

worked well on update
My old post caps were damaged by hail, these fit perfect over the damaged copper caps (not the same brand) may have been a bit large on my 6x6 posts without the old caps (maybe due to the posts shrinking.) Look great, heavy, very pleased.

Nice product and thicker than expected
The post cap came quickly and looks very nice and is sturdier than I expected it would be. The only thing that would improve the product would be to have nail/screw holes on the flanges for installation. I would recommend this for years of service.

They look awesome on my pergola
They arrived as shown on the web page, bright, shiny and smooth. They fit my 6x6 post, which I measured prior to ordering, the post are 5.5” x 5.5” I also ordered some copper nails to secure the caps to the post, with the expectation of both caps and nails having the patina effect. I would order again if I need some more 6x6 post caps
