Do i use the chain cleaner and brush through then wipe off acess dirt then do i use the muc off all weather chain lube last ?

Yes, spray the chain well with Muc-Off cleaner, then brush each side thoroughly spinning the rear wheel slowly with hand (never do it with running engine and in gear!), then spay the chain again. Put some cardboard behind the chain to protect the wheel and also try to collect what's dripping, on that too. Then, I use compressed air to blow it out dry but if not available, an old cloth will do to dry it and remove what is left. The last thing is to apply the chain lube, not too much, just to cover it. I use Motul Road of Factory Line. Few spins of the wheel and leave it for half an hour to dry. This is how I do that and it doesn't mean it is the only way.

Can this be used on a mountain bike

I wouldn't buy it specifically for a mountain bike but if like me, you have a motorbike and a mountain bike, then yes it works on all chains so why buy two different cleaners?

Is it ok if you get it on brake discs?

You can use brake cleaner to clean chains, but I'm not sure how well chain cleaner works on brake discs. So when I get some on my discs, after rinsing with water I give them a wipe with isopropyl alcohol (get a cheap bottle from the pharmacy) just in case there is any residue left.
