I don’t think so. I’ve only used them for cold desserts. They are crystal but also dishwasher safe. Soup would probably be okay but wouldn’t put them in the oven.

How deep is each bowl?

They're bigger than average dessert bowls I bought it as a gift for someone and they loved it. Hope it helps.
