Angelcare Round Refill, 3 Pack, for Original Nappy Disposal System (not new classic xl)

This is probably one of my most purchased items on Amazon, every 3/4 months. since my little boy is in nappies, this nappy disposal refill is god-sent magic as it prevents you from having all those endless trips to your bins. When my son was newborn - 9 months, he was using a lot more nappy than normal and you could fit up to 20-25 nappies in there. I did have to buy every month or so. However once they are a bit bigger, 10 months - 1.5 years then you do tend to change their nappies less often, so the plastic lasts longer. The smell is completely locked away, cannot be smelled at all, its perfect and does the job. The blue plastic itself is very sturdy, so it doesn't rip very easily (a plus when it comes to changing it). Clear instruction on how to use it also. Fantastic product, highly recommended to new parents.

We weren't sure whether to bother with a nappy disposal system as some reviews had been dubious about their effectiveness at killing odours. But have to say that we have been delighted with our system - the cassettes need to be replaced around every 2 - 3 weeks so it works out around £4 a month for a cassette which is pretty inexpensive and well worth it to have a smell free bathroom! System is really easy to use. I have empty it twice a week as it gets full after about 4 days but you simply open it up, pull and cut (cutter is in the system) and then remove your nappies in their bag and dispose of them. Then just tie a knot in the continuous bag left in the system and you're good to go for another four days. In terms of effectiveness in killing odours, even when the room has been shut up for the day in the summer we've returned to a smell free environment so we have been very pleased with ours!

I think every parent needs a diaper bin and although these refills are expensive I cant imagine how my apartment would smell without them! I believe sangenic brand has cheaper refills but am not sure how much the bin is. If it's cheaper I may switch but it's definitely a product that is necessary. My only problem is they've updated the cassettes in whatever way and it seems they've stopped putting the red mark on the roll to indicate when it's about to run out. Tip: if you wind up with a long bit of unused plastic that comes out of the cartridge because it's empty, take the cartridge out and loop the end of the plastic around it and feed it back through the top of the bin as you would when changing the cartridge. I find myself being able to still get at least another few day's use out of the plastic that otherwise would have to have been wasted.

Although you pay a bit more than for others it worth it. The bags hide the smells you could get but it's not ovverpowering. They fit the system and don't rip

Of all the nappy disposal systems available, this is probably the best one. The plastic isn't normal plastic as you'd find on a carrier bag or similar. It's multi layered and does keep the vast majority of the smell inside. I'd say it was 90% effective. The only time you get a whiff is when you have to empty it and tie the bag off. Unavoidable I suppose. I cannot imagine that anything would be 100% effective, so full marks to Angelcare on this product. We bought ours when baby was 5 months old after trying another system, which wasn't really up to the job. We have used 1 cartridge per month. So it's costing us £4 a month in real terms. Not bad at all. Overall, I'd recommend these very highly.

Cela fait 9 mois que nous utilisons la poubelle angelcare pour nos jumelles et nous sommes très satisfaits du résultat. L'odeur est bien camouflée, nous mettons que les couches avec des selles pour rentabiliser les sacs. Par contre ne pas trop remplir le sac car on dirait pas, mais ça pèse lourd... Le sac est résistant et facile à mettre. Le prix est un peu cher...

This product plus the diaper trashcan is one of the best inventions for babies. It is a bit of a "luxury" thing but I deserve it! Absolutely no smell although I only empty it once a week.
