Xbox One S 500GB Console

Great condition

I was back n forth between PS4 and Xbox one and was leaning more towards Sony until I found out that my ps3 games could not be played. so that swung it for me and I bought a few older 360 games that were enabled for the One. I am impressed with the speed of the Xbox and how much it's pushed into gaming. GTA V looks gorgeous and everything feels more solid in it rather than the PS3 version that I played through. my One s came from Cash Converters in Stirling and I would just like to give them a huge shout for wrapping my unboxed One in enough bubble wrap to FLOAT a battleship :D was nice n fast delivery too and the cost of posting it was less than most paperback books on Amazon these days that are pre owned. in fact the GTA v I got as pre owned from Amazons postage was £2.60 whereas Cash Converters charged just over £1.60 for the One. go figure.

I've been out of the Xbox ecosystem since the 360 but I really wanted a 4K Blu-Ray player that didn't cost the earth. Seeing as my PS4Pro stupidly doesn't have one the Xbox One S was a no-brainer. It's a smart looking console, it's quiet and performs well BUT WTF has Microsoft done to the interface/dashboard? It's got to be the worst user experience I've ever come across. As an IT professional I'm dipping in and out of Android, iOS all flavours of Windows and Linux on a daily basis and I've never seen anything as awful as this. Nothing's going to beat the 1.0 Xbox 360 stacked sheets, the Metro Interface that finally dropped on the 360 was horrible but manageable, but holey moley MS have really dropped the ball on the XB1. So the three stars go to the hardware, the Blu-Ray performance and the nice controller (which is taking some getting used to), but I gotta knock off 2 stars for the interface. What a disaster.

As a long-time PlayStation user from PS1 to PS4 I have missed out on more than a few Xbox exclusive games that were never released on other consoles. Xbox One now has backwards compatibility with many games from Xbox 360 and now some from the original Xbox as well. They also look better and have better performance than they did on the original console, because of the way the backwards compatibility works. If you have the disc version already you can just insert it and it will download the Xbox One compatible version for you, although you'll still need the disc inserted to play it if you do it that way. Otherwise it'll just give you a generic error message. Not all games are compatible yet so it's important to check if each game is before you buy it. Unlike previous Xbox One models the S has an internal power supply so you won't have an external power brick" that you'll need to find space for. It can also play 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs, if you don't mind spending somewhere between £15 to £30 per film. I took one star off because it's only really worth it if you've never had an original Xbox and Xbox 360, and missed out on a lot of older Xbox exclusive games. The Xbox One has nothing going for it when it comes to newer games. Multiplatform games look better and run better on the PS4, and there are almost no Xbox One exclusives that would be of interest to solo players, as many Xbox exclusive franchises are multiplayer/co-op focused.

my son only had this just over a week ago and it stopped working he not happy cause he used his christmas card to buy it and what more they are now saying to send it back witch will cost me a further 34 pound to send it dont use this seller media hub rubbish DONT USE THIS SELLER

I have had the xbox since february 18, however i didn't actually use this console until May 18, as i had problems with Internet from moving houses. Its now August 17th and the console has packed in. This is a problem with the Xbox One S and now i find out that i am out of warranty. Disgraceful! I bought this console as an update to my original edition of the Xbox One from 2014. That is still working fine. The issue is due to the power bank being built in, as opposed to being out on the floor like the old one. Best to spend your money on a playstation?!

After some initial problems (I had to do a factory reset after two weeks use - it appears that downloading the blu-ray app had corrupted the hard-drive, or something along those lines) the Xbox One has been working perfectly. It's a great console with a nice design, and just happens to also have some of the best exclusive racing games on it too (Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7). Overall, very pleased.

great console with high speed gaming and great for dealing with frustrated demands after loosing your 4th match and getting humiliated in front of your friends by a indonesian child with a voice like a whinny mouse. p.s the controller can take lots of damage after you get 'tea bagged' by this same child on your 17th game! xD

Bon état, fonctionne parfaitement je l’ai reçu dans les temps. Je m’en sert tout le temps dès que j’ai un peu de temps libre et j’en suis très content. Je recommande.

Le produit s'allume mais dès qu'on lance un jeu la console crash et s'arrête toute seule. J'ai donc renvoyé le produit et je tiens à préciser que là où d'autres vendeurs fournissent des bons de renvoi de colis, avec eux ils faut payer, soit 13,75€ par La Poste.
