From the manufacturer Spray Adhesives for Mounting Mounting a photo, making a picture display, or showing off a design has never been easier with the 3M spray adhesive range for photograph, print and picture mounting. 3M's comprehensive range of clear spray adhesives can be used for many applications - as an adhesive for arts and crafts (scrap booking, model building, foil crafts) through to delivering professional results in wall display mounts, print mounting and of course, top quality 3M spray adhesives for photo mounts and picture displays. Review: Versatile item, works really well in a variety of usage conditions. - Very good bit of kit. Was ordered to complement my craft set but works really well as a household adhesive too. Very, very strong hold, can take a bit of weight too, good spray action that was quite accurate. The spray nozzle has popped off a couple times but goes right back on, no tube will come out with it so it won't inconvenience you one bit to fix. I've even used it to re-stickify some sticky labels; I spray on the adhesive with the labels over some newspaper, left the adhesive to air dry overnight and woke up to still find them really sticky. I left it another few hours before sticking them back on and it worked perfectly, adheres well but still easily removed. Recommended. Review: Excellent thin coverage but has to be used from 20cm away. - I bought this to use with silk for small silk paintings I've done to make greetings cards. I wanted glue that offered good coverage but wasn't too thick so that it wouldn't bleed through/stain the silk. This offers a nice thin spray which is perfect for silk, but has two problems: (1) that you get the occasional thicker blob that can be a little unsightly, but (2) more annoyingly for me, that you are supposed to hold it 20cm from the surface you want to spray, meaning that for my small target area it is hard to aim reliably and I have had to create an overlay with a window in to ensure I don't get the glue all over the front of the card. Now I've made this it's perfect.

Stick with the Best
I have been using 3M sprays for some considerable time now and therefore know how good they are. I recently ran out and went to buy some on the high street. I was surprised at the asking price and stupidly went for a cheaper yet well known suppliers own brand; it was rubbish, spraying messy thick gloop everywhere which for paper work was hopeless. I therefore went to Amazon to source the real stuff and found these really good deals. A very fast delivery meant that I was up and running again with the only product worth buying; superior in every way. A class act and, for the serious crafter/artist etc it sometimes pays to buy the best if you want the best results. Highly recommended.

This is the BEST!
This is the only one to buy for your permanent craft needs ,I have tried other cheaper ones and they range from poor to abysmal.I use it to make original cards and calendars incorporating my small watercolour paintings. You can't reposition easily as it tends to be instant grab ,so you need to be accurate ,but it really does the job well and gives lasting results. It is not water -based so can be used on watercolour paper without it cockling and does not stain through .Use plenty of newspaper to catch overspray and use a new sheet for each job as it is VERY sticky. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

It doesn't glue fabrics permanentely.
It did not glued permanently between two cotton fabrics. It glues but it comes off if you try to peel it away.

Beware size.
This is a great adhesive spray, the best one to get, I have used it for years but BE WARY. This is a very small can for the price. I did not read the size in mls, and judging by the price, I assumed it was the 500ml can which I usually buy. But no. So, overpriced and on the misleading side. Also cannot be posted back as now classed as dangerous contents by the post office!

Didn't work for me.
have to say i am disappointed. i sprayed this on the wall first to put the foam up and as it was in doors i did put a mask on because of the dangerous fumes.. after leaving the foam on to stick when i came home later that day i found some did stick.. however others fell off or where hanging on a single corner.. if this is for foam products in doors just use double sided sticky tape

Permanent-ish
A classic of the graphic design industry, 3M permanent spray mount allows you a bit of time to reposition the artwork and then comes gradually unstuck over a period of time. Everyone in graphic design knows this, so it's more a feature of the adhesive than a draw back. If you're not a designer, and are looking for something really permanent, this may not do the job. I have two more things to say if you're considering buying this for the first time, rather than just replacing a can you already have. First, take elaborate pains to cover everything in the vicinity, and never spray over carpet, no matter how much newspaper you have down. Our designer once spray mounted a quantity of A0s in our new office. He put down about 8x the area in newspaper, and we thought it would be fine. Over the years that followed, an ever more visible window of clean carpet surround by dirty carpet appeared, as the area beyond the newspaper attracted dirt which then couldn't be shifted by the cleaner. If possible spray in a box surrounded by hard surfaces which really can be got clean. Second, if you're mounting paper to board (for example) the board will start to bend within 12 hours. This is normal, because the spray mount contracts as it hardens. The solution is to spray mount a blank piece of the same paper onto the other side of the board. I never knew this until a craftsman explained it to me.
