The latest version of the best rechargeable battery I know of. Eneloop batteries were originally made by Sanyo. The Eneloop line was acquired by Panasonic. I have known these batteries for years now, and I wasn't looking for any improved performance. If anything I was a bit worried about the opposite: it can happen with acquisitions... But gladly I cannot really see much difference in use. They are still brilliant. They have truly outstanding charge retention, current delivery and low temperature performance. The current delivery does not degrade in use as they discharge until of course, they are completely empty. They can be recharged very fast (although any battery will last longer with slow charging) and I never had a set where I could notice any drop in performance even after years and many recharges. I discovered and selected them after trying out a few top brand for my professional camera equipment. I now only use these especially for flash guns. But I tend to use them for everything really. The only advantage of non-rechargeable batteries was their charge retention, at least until their expiry date as after that (and in some case even before) I did experience leaking even from famous non-rechargeable battery brands. But these Eneloop hold the charge for an extremely long time, are much better in use and I certainly never seen any sign of leaking (if that is at all possible). Some other brands claim higher capacity. That may be the case perhaps immediately after recharging, but I never found anything lasting longer than these in real use. So there is no reason to purchase anything else in my view, and especially non-rechargeable batteries except for emergency need. They work better, they save money and are much better for the environment. I admit that I may have a soft spot for this item, but so do my Nikon and Metz kits.

Great performance, ideal for professional / business uses. These seem to perform as well as previous purchases, retaining charge for long periods, and quite high power output when required . Other feedback indicates buyers must be watchful for sellers who may provide poor quality examples of this product, not surprising given the usual high prices, the potential age of the product (though the genuine product performance retaining charge over long periods mitigates this) and the variety/numbers of sellers in the market.

Using these in my iMac wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse. Wish I had invested in these batteries years ago. Great batteries, hold their charge really well. Worth paying a bit more for these as I had tried other cheaper brands of rechargeable batteries a few years ago, but was put off as they were really poor. I wouldn't buy any others now, just Eneloop.

If you have an older Pentax DSLR camera (e.g. ist DL2, etc), then you'll want these rechargeable batteries, forget buying cheap standard alkaline batteries, and even your more expensive high powered Energizer and Duracell's as they won't work. Get these as they are the slow draw power type and will always work every time, no more camera saying there's no power in the batteries when you know they're brand new! Get the Eneloop charger and you'll never regret buying them - But ensure the Eneloop batteries are the ones made in 'Japan', not China, as the Japanese ones are the genuine version and will work and last. The only reason I could not put 5-stars for value for money is, they are initially very expensive to buy but compared to the hassle I've had with other batteries it's been worth every penny.

I have these installed in a little portable radio. I chose them as they are supposed to hold their charge over time, where standard NiMh rechargeables drain whether you use them or not. They have lasted a long while i the radio, which doesn't get used regularly, and I plan to replace all of my low drain appliance batteries with these once the current non-rechargeables in them run out.

More problems with losing ability to hold charges than I expected

I have been using these batteries for two years now, in my Yongnuo YN685 flash 📸. I haven'ț been using it intensively (not many charge/discharge cycles), but anyhow, performing as new after two yearș

En mi opinión las mejores pilas recargables AA que he comprado, tienen 1900mAh pero tienen una durabilidad de 10. Anteriormente había comprado unas Duracell Recargables DuraLock de 2500mah y la verdad no tiene nada que envidiarles. Espero que me duren lo mismo que las Duracell unos 6 años aguantando el 70%. Por otro lado dar las gracias a Amazon por el servicio ya que las pilas las pedí hace 3 semanas y como no había salido durante ese periodo, me las envío por paquetería express y me llegaron en nada.

Utizzo da tempo le batterie ricaricabili eneloop in vari ambiti e le ho sempre trovate di ottima qualità. Durano a lungo e mantengono la carica anche se inutilizzate per diverso tempo. Per preservare le caratteristiche consiglio di utilizzare il loro caricabatterie che verifica la carica delle singole batterie e ne interrompe la ricarica quando completa, evitando di danneggiarle.
