Animagic Ruby and Lottie

bought for my 6 year old daughter after she fell in love with the film 101 dalmations, wouldn't have paid full price but excellent for the price i paid, daughter loves it, even i think its cute!

This is one of the cutest toy sets we have had and my children (and me) fell in love with the Mummy and Puppy when they arrived. My son immediately took to carrying around the Mummy and my daughter took to carrying around the Puppy and then they would bring the two together to make them happy again and have their hearts glow red. My children have had such enjoyment from this set and they were an immediate hit with them both. You are probably wondering why only a 3 star marking if my children loved them so much? Unfortunately the set has lasted less than 24hours before the Puppy has now decided to stay miserable all the time with a sad blue heart. The Puppy was actually temperamental to being with and a struggle to get her heart to turn red but she has now completely stopped working with the Mummy. No amount of cuddles with her Mummy or putting her leg into every which way angle to make the hearts and magnetic pieces underneath match has managed to make her little heart turn red again and it would appear that either a wire has come lose within her or something has failed. The Mummy and Puppy come with 3AAA batteries included each and I have tried swapping them for brand new Duracell ones to see if that makes any difference but it hasn't. I have also put both of them back into the demonstration mode they arrived in and in the demo mode the Puppy's heart does turn red which leads me to surmise it is something to do with the wiring, the magnetic connection or something failing inside. As all of the wiring and leg part of Puppy is unreachable, I have been unable to fix her and my children are pretty upset and if I'm honest so am I as I thought they were so sweet. The idea of the toys is that you turn them into the on mode (they have a demo mode and off mode too) and then stroke their backs twice to make their hearts turn blue and them whimper for each other. You then match the hearts on their legs together and when they are matched and close both of their hearts turn red and they make happy sounds instead of sad sounds. The hearts both have some sort of magnetic piece inside the leg so that they recognise each other. Both dogs are gorgeous and fluffy and soft and they have plastic eyes and noses but stitched in mouth. Their little tails are lovely and their ears have been stitched to stay down. They are both reasonably padded but you can still feel the battery boxes inside of them when squeezed and so perhaps not a bedtime teddy in case your little one whacks themselves in the face with them during the night. A gorgeous and sweet toy idea and bound to be loved by any little girl or boy who likes the Animagic animals and just so incredibly sad that the Puppy in my set has a fault.

My daughter loves his product. A great Christmas present. The dogs are quite small but they work really well together. Would definitely recommend.

My 5 year old daughter loves these. She loves cute animal soft toys so when she saw these she wanted them. Not bad for £12. They don't do much but there's no need for the bad reviews. It took me almost a whole day to realise they were on demo mode! They work much better when you move the switch inside both of them, otherwise the hearts stay red most of the time.

Present for niece, she seemed to be happy with it. Don't think I would have paid the full price for it though.

Good product at a great price far cheaper than the one I returned to Toysrus at £34.99

I bought this for my daughter Ruby's 7th birthday. The product was a complete disappointment. The hearts on the chest only go pink and respond for the puppy, it stays blue constantly for the mother. There is probably a fault with the product but as the box was broken during present opening (Houdini would have struggled..) so I haven't returned it. Product is not fit for purpose and not a soft cuddly toy so no use as a comforter at bedtime (plus baby is constantly whining for Mum as she doesn't recognise her). They have lived in the corner of the room. Waste of money!

Queste simpatiche cagnoline di peluche sono arrivate per la data prevista e trovo che il cuore che si illumina di rosso quando sono vicine e di blu quando sono lontane sia bellissimo e fantastico,sembra che siano veramente madre e figlia, però cagnioline.

Los perritos solo ladran y se encienden ambas luces azul y rojo esten o no estén los perritos juntos, cuando debería de ser luz azul separados, luz roja juntos.. A mi hija le gustan, pero la usa como peluche...nada especial

Meine Tochter ist begeistert,aber wie das so ist in der neuen aufregenden Welt ist alles was sehr interessant ist auch genau so schnell wieder uninteressant ist !

Jolies peluches, douces et qui ne perdent pas de poils pour ceux qui sont allergiques c'est bien,une maman dalmatien et son chiot,ils sont bien blanc avec des petites taches noires. Il faut appuyer ou les caresser sur le dos pour qu'ils se mettent en marche après avoir actionner l'interrupteur caché dans le ventre de la maman,il y a deux modes differents et un OFF. Le chiot et la maman pleurent et couinent lorsqu'ils ne sont pas ensemble le coeur sur la poitrine clignote en bleu, le son n'est pas trop fort et ne dérange pas vraiment, lorsque les coeurs brodés sur leurs pattes se touchent ou se rapprochent les peluches aboient joyeusement et leur coeurs lumineux clignotent en rouge. Le seul reproche que je lui fais c'est que les compartiments pour piles ne s'enlèvent pas et pour laver les peluches une fois trop sale ça risque d'être compliqué. cela pourrait faire un joli cadeau aux enfants ,ma fille aime beaucoup et les pose sur son lit en décoration. ruby und lottie sind wirklich sehr liebenswert, doch die funktionen sind total unnötig! Der eine Hund hat mitten in der Nacht angefanen zu bellen und zu winseln, weil meine Tochter wohl den Rücken irgendwie berührt hat, und weil der 2. hund am anderen ende des bettes war, hat er weitergewinselt bis ich aufgestanden bin und ihn abgedreht habe.... seitdem sind beide immer abgedreht und werden nur zum kuscheln benutzt (sind beide sehr weich und flauschig, die batteriefächer merkt man kaum). 25€ für 2 hunde zum kuscheln sind dennoch okay! versand war auch sehr schnell!
