Does this catch huge spiders and hold long enough to take outside and down the path? (Huge meaning around the same diameter of a pint glass).

Yes! I caught a giant house spider (biggest spider in Britain and the fastest in the world) it was an absolute monster that I wouldn't have dreamed battling with in the past but this makes it so easy. Once caught make sure you keep your eye on the spider and don't put your hand anywhere near the trigger to avoid accidental release. And release them a good distance from your house because the one I caught was big enough to open the front door and let himself back in!

is the arm adjustible?

Hi Matthew, The spider catcher is not adjustable but is plenty long enough to catch spider away form yourself I have caught 3 spiders now and normally would not go near a spider as very frightened of them but this very good and at least they do not die so open the grabber on the handle hover over spider and grab it when your ready. Has anyone tried this with moths? If so, is it any good?

Greetings. I haven’t tried this on moths. I would imagine it would damage the delicate scales on their wings if you did.

How do you mount it? Id like to attach it to the bathroom wall, will the steam from the shower loosen the glue?

There is nothing to hang it up with so I tied a cord underneath the handle and hang it up like that . Maybe you could use a suction hook to hang it up on in the bathroom . There is no glue so steam wouldn't hurt it . It's great , just be gentle with the little spiders . Definitely recommend it.
