Yes a 13 amp plug top will pass easily thro the hole I am an electrician and I used these all the time especially when working in offices or domestic kitchens It’s better than just leaving a hole thro which possible “rubbish” can fall through

Do I need a 60mm circle saw? Wont that make it fall through the desk? Is the widest part (the top part) 60mm or is that bigger to create a lip?

Hi,the diameter of the outer edge of the cable access is 70mm and the diameter of the part that will go through the hole is 58mm, so a 60mm cutting will allow the insert do perfectly as it is smaller than outer edge.I hope this helps.ps I have purposely just measured mine.Stuart
