H2O Audio Stream 3 Bone Conduction

This player is very high quality, and excellent sound quality. Equally important - the company has superior customer service. I have had a few issues needing attention and they have always been very responsive to my needs. I have been using these players and earbuds for swimming for many years and love them. Buy any of these products, you can't go wrong.

I originally reviewed the item with one star, because only one earbud worked, and because the MP3 player already had music on it when it arrived (causing me to suspect that it was used). I've received a replacement and spoken with the manufacturer, and I'm upgrading the review to four stars. Both earbuds work on the second item, and it turns out that the manufacturer pre-loads some songs on the MP3 player. This time, it's working fine. (I have the bone conduction version and always swim with earplugs.) Bluetooth works with my phone located at on one end of the pool (25 yards). Only holding back the fifth star for now because I'm not sure about durability; I've only used it once in the water.

It's practically unusable with my basic Windows PCs. When I try to move files too it, it times out quciker than quick. Makes it almost completely unusable. Waited to long to send it bacck and now it's a 100 dollars stuck in some box of electronic crap.

I was given this as a gift 4 yrs ago. I am a daily lap swimmer and swim 1 1/2hrs a day. This is great when it works. My experience has been that it works about 6 months then either I can’t charge it, turn it on or the sounds goes away. It has a year warranty and I’ve sent it in when I have problems and it’s fixed, replaced and sent back. I have purchased 3 more by myself over the past 3 yrs. Each has lasted 5-8 mos but is frustrating when it won’t work. The earplugs that come with this are very cheap and don’t last long. I have purchased another brand of earphones to use with the player and they are so much better.

After different technical issues, H2O customer service helped me trouble shoot ultimately sending me a replacement player respectfully following up until I was satisfied. 100% customer satisfaction !!!

I enjoy listen to music and recorded books while I swim, but after a while it doesn't keep a charge.

Works great-better Bluetooth reception than the older version I had of the same product. If it slips underwater it will reconnect on its own once you recover it. The bone conduction earbuds were too difficult to get right on my goggle strap. Couldn’t get good sound. Substituted standard earbuds from my old one.

This thing is a complete POS. The first one did not work at all right out of the box. The second one worked for about 60 minutes and powered itself off during my swim. I attempted to turn it back on and each time it said "75% battery remaining, powering off." I spent more time adding files to this thing than its functionality lasted. Would not recommend.

My workouts in the pool have become nicer with the H2Oaudio headphones, now inseparable swimming companion. The sound is perceived in the water without interruption, the normal headphones in the ear are filled with water, with H2Oaudio bone conduction does not lose the music even during the flip turn. Only the lowest tones become hums, but you don’t have to listen to a piano concerto by Franz Liszt.

Have returned previous one from another brand and was refunded by Amazon (thanks again) as it stopped working in MP3 Mode after first use in pool. I used it h2O in pool for two hours and experience was fine. The 360 clipping helps more comfortable with swimming cap ; which l thought could be problematic. The sound is ok vocals and high pitches not so promising. But believe this is normal for bone conduction and when you are in water. An equalizer preset/ mode selection would be good to have :) Will try to update comments in 4-6 weeks as was hard to find reviews that would help me decide on which product to buy for swimming
