Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, Vegan & Cruelty-Free, Set of 4

I recently started using this beauty blender as part of my daily makeup routine, and I’ve been really happy with how it performs. The texture is super soft and bouncy, which makes blending foundation and concealer really easy. It gives a smooth, even finish without soaking up too much product, which I love because I hate wasting makeup. I use it damp, and it expands nicely without feeling too squishy. It’s also great for applying cream blush or even powder in those harder-to-reach spots. Cleaning it has been pretty straightforward too, which is always a bonus. That said, after a few uses, I did notice a bit of staining that didn’t completely come out, even after washing. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if you’re picky about keeping your tools looking new. Overall, it’s a solid beauty blender that does the job well and feels great to use. Definitely worth picking up if you want a reliable option for blending out your makeup.

I've only started using liquid foundation again after a gap of more than 20yrs. This makeup sponge is perfect to use with my liquid foundation, it's great on my sensitive skin, with no irritation at all, it applies my foundation nice and evenly and the sponge is very easy to clean with my micellar water and soap, I like to clean my sponge weekly, this sponge has managed that with no damage so it is also very good quality. I will buy this again when needed.

I was actually given one of these as a birthday gift and had never used a beauty blender before. Straight away I could see why people rate them – it applied my makeup beautifully and gave such a smooth, flawless finish. I ended up losing it and when I went to replace it, I tried to save money and bought a cheaper version instead… and wow, you can tell the difference. The cheaper ones just didn’t blend the same at all. My makeup didn’t sit as nicely and it never gave that same smooth, airbrushed look. So I came back to this one and there was an instant improvement. It’s really soft, blends product effortlessly, and leaves your makeup looking flawless rather than heavy or patchy. It might seem expensive for a sponge when you can buy a pack of three for the same price, but it genuinely performs better than the cheaper ones. I wouldn’t bother with alternatives again – this is the one to choose!

I've moved between fingers and brushes for foundation application, swearing by the efficacy of both in their turn, but recently my skin has been doing the unthinkable. After years of battling with oily skin it has decided to become combination, but as my body has never been well behaved it's combination oily/dry, not oily/normal leaving me with a battle against flakiness. This new dryness means that foundation can get 'caught' around the tiny dry bits and look 'rough' and patchy, so as well as changing moisturisers (which has helped) on the advice of youtube gurus I thought I'd give a beauty blender type product a go. I wasn't willing to pay the price of the actual 'beauty blender' (from about £12 and more for a small piece of sponge... I don't think so!), I was even a bit doubtful about the £4ish cost of this product but I'm glad I got it. The technique used to apply foundation with this makes a big difference if you have dry skin. Hand application, or brushes use a sweeping, or buffing motion which further lifts the tiny particles of dry or rough skin making any issues with product 'gathering' around the area more visible. The press and or roll action using this 'scuffs' up the surface of the skin far less and gives a nice sheer application which can be built up further if required. The shape allows it to get into all the little nooks and crannies around the nose etc easily. I don't usually bother moistening the sponge as I tend to use silicone based primers and water doesn't work particularly well with silicones, but it works well with my water based foundation. Even when dry it doesn't seem to wastefully absorb excessive amounts of product. I'll probably continue to alternate using this with fingers and or brushes depending on foundation, mood and condition of skin, but I can recommend this product as a very good complexion sponge. I can't compare it with the beauty blender, obviously, as I've never tried the other.

Love love loveeee this sponge, would recommend for someone still using the disposable sponges or someone not wanting to pay for a beauty blender or really anyone who loves makeup and saving some money. This sponge blends makeup very well and creates a flawless coverage (this will obviously very depending on the quality of makeup you use). I have used this sponge both dry and damp. The sponge has a flat back on it that i find good for loose powder to bake concleaer and the pointy side is good for applying concealer and foundation under the eye and the sides are good to use for applying foundation to the face and neck. The only slight down side to this sponge is how much it expands when you wet it. It does get a lot bigger which could make it hard to get under the eye. The price is well worth it since you can get two for the price of one beauty blender and works just as well in my opinion and the shippinng was fast and packaging/ item had no issues!

Soy de piel muy delicada pero esta esponja es suavecita y no me a dado problemas. El paquete de dos esponjas esta bueno por el precio. Aplica muy bien el maquillaje sin dejar marcas y es fácil de limpiar. La verdad no hay mucho que decir ,no hay que complicarse mucho ,funcionan bien. Estas esponjas son las favoritas de muchos y ya veo porque.

Mi sto trovando davvero molto bene con queste spugnette Real Techniques. La confezione contiene due spugnette, cosa che trovo particolarmente comoda. Sono piuttosto morbide e piacevoli da utilizzare sul viso. Personalmente le utilizzo inumidite, soprattutto per rifinire il correttore sotto gli occhi e rimuovere gli eccessi di prodotto, ottenendo un risultato più uniforme e naturale. Apprezzo moltissimo la loro forma: il lato piatto e angolato permette di lavorare con precisione nella zona delle occhiaie, mentre le altre superfici sono comode per sfumare il trucco. Un altro aspetto positivo è che non mi sembra trattengano una quantità eccessiva di prodotto al loro interno, cosa che invece mi è capitata con altre spugnette. Nel complesso le trovo davvero ben fatte, morbide e funzionali. Sono soddisfattissima dell’acquisto e le consiglio!
