WELDTITE Carbon Gripper Paste for Bikes, 10 g

I’ve been using this Weldtite Carbon Fibre Gripper Paste on my urban hybrid bike for a few months now, mainly on the seatpost and stem, and it’s done exactly what it claims. Before this, my seatpost would slowly sink during longer rides no matter how carefully I torqued the clamp. A thin smear of this paste fixed it completely. The seatpost hasn’t moved since, and there’s no more creaking either. Same result on the stem – bars stay solid without needing to overtighten anything. It’s gritty, which is the point, and you only need a tiny amount. The 10g tube is small but more than enough for several applications. Easy to apply, no mess, and it doesn’t seize the parts when you need to adjust later. Would I buy it again? Yes. Simple, effective, and cheaper than most alternatives. If you’ve got carbon components that like to slip, this is worth trying.

Like other reviews have seen I expected a bigger tube. Feels like sand mixed with grease and I wondered at the time of application if I could just have used that made at home. Used this product on a steel seat post in a steel frame that kept slipping, worked perfectly so no complaints with this product. Highly recommended.

This works really well . I used it on a nike seat which kept on slipping down , this sorted it out , and stopped the slipping .

Perfect and you don't have to use liberally, a small amount does the job. Now I only torque my seat post clamp to 1nm instead of 2. So perfect for carbon bike frame.

Beware this tube is tiny. My own fault I should have checked the size, but assumed it was a much bigger tube. This is not going to last very long.

Carbon seatpost to aluminum frame. Slips a bit and the bottom line is go back to alluninum seatposts. Im using a double fastener seatpost at 60 lbs tourque and has only slipped 1/8 inch in 3 trail rides. These results are after weldtite has been applied according to instructions.
