Timekettle M3 Language Translator Earbuds, Two-Way Translator Device with APP for 40 Languages and 13 Offline Translation Packs, Fast Reaction with Revolutionary Al Semantic Tech, Offline Version

I've owned the previous M2 translator earbuds and I believe the M3 are a huge improvement. It really depends on what your own preferences are. If you like how Airpods fit in your ears, then the M2 would be more your style. If you like how Beats fit in your ears, then the M3 would be more your style. I like to exercise from time to time when I wear my earbuds, so the form fitting M3's are exactly what I needed. As pure audio earbuds, these sound fantastic. I own over 20 pairs of earbuds. The bass and clarity of these can compete with the best of them. Everyone was able to hear me clearly and vice versa for phone calls. It would have been nice if these had ANC, but again...that's a personal preference. If you like to hear ambient noise for safety reasons, these would be perfect. Maybe it will be an option they will add in the future. Now, let's talk about the translation feature. They were relatively easy to setup, especially if you're used to purchasing the offline translation packages using the proprietary currency called the "fish card". The Timekettle Fish Card is a virtual digital card used to top up your Timekettle account for downloading offline language packages. 5 Fish can redeem a bundle of offline language. I tested these by speaking phrases in Spanish into my phone and then waited for the app to read the phrase back to me in English. At first, I noticed that the first word of every sentence was being cut off. I went into the settings for my earbuds and changed the sensitivity to 30 and the pause time to 2 seconds. That seemed to be the sweet spot (YMMV) to get it to translate the first word of the phrase as well. I also downloaded and tested Spanish to English, Russian to English and Chinese to English. All of them seemed to work flawlessly without needing to access the internet. In summary, I've tried taking Spanish lessons in the past. It takes years to fully learn a new language. These in-ear translators allow you to instantly communicate in multiple languages without years in a classroom. There was a time I wired money to myself in Mexico and when I went to the bank to cash out, I couldn't because I didn't speak the language and nobody was available to translate. That will no longer be an issue thanks to TimeKettle and their wonderful products. I will also follow-up with an unboxing video in the near future.

Purchased the “offline” model in black. Upon taking delivery, set up and successfully tested online mode with an iPhone 15 Pro Max. While the Bluetooth connection was unstable and the translation slow at best, the English to Simplified Chinese translation was accurate, and battery life seemed sufficient. The bigger issue started after downloading two offline packs. After two days of unsuccessful offline- mode testing, I called customer service. First, the rep sounded as though he was talking on a speaker phone in a giant, empty warehouse. There was so much echo and distortion I could barely discern his voice. Explained my situation, to which the rep responded “yeah, offline doesn’t work anymore”. When I questioned further, he said “we’ll fix it next week”. I requested more detail, and he responded “like I already said, it doesn’t work”. At this point I was irritated, and told him “not good enough, do better”. He said “the server is broken, we’ll fix it next week”. Told him I’d probably have to return the product, as it was purchased primarily for an international trip where WiFi would be spotty. He responded “whatever you gotta do, man”. Terrible customer service. The rep had attitude, was condescending, and unhelpful. Not a good value when the primary reason for purchase is inoperable, and customer service is nonexistent. Won’t recommend this product to anyone.

The sound quality is nice, I’m learning English so it helps when I’m having a conversation and I don’t understand what the other person is saying. It’s very comfortable, the size is perfect for my ears and it’s easy to Carrie around. it’s easy to control. I recommend!

Purchase these for a grandson who is wanting to follow Japanese anime on TV and in videos. They struggle keeping up, but I'm told one-on-one conversation. They have great sound and fit very comfortably.

Decent for regular earbuds use. Only got the translation features to work for active listening once. You have to be in a very very quiet place for this to work and it mostly uses your phone as a microphone. I ended up using Google translate in multiple European countries insteadof being able to use the timekettle app. The app was very glitchy and sometimes even in quite places it would not pickup the audio of the speaker. Even when I preselected the languages involved. I paid for the offline mode and it was the same issues. The headphones are too sensitive to touch. Anything brushing against them, including hair, will pause or play audio. Maybe the more expensive models from this brand work better for translation, but I was better off using other devices I had with me than the timekettle M3. The size isn't too bad. I'd give these a 6 out of 10 for comfort. I was constantly having to adjust them in my ear, which would also turn whatever audio was playing on and off. If you get these definitely buy a little holder for them. The magnet holding the two sides closed is only so strong.

The earbuds are excellent. You do not have to be online to use them. It has a number of languages (for me Spanish to English) is downloaded and always available online or not. What is also nice it picks up language throughout the room as well as speaking directly into your cell phone. You can use voice or type in the phrase you would like to have translated. I have tried other providers; this is the best option I have been able to find. Initial setup was very easy to do no matter your technical competence

The app could be a little more intuitive, but it does OK. The earbuds, once placed in conversation mode and shared with another user, worked OK for about 30 minutes, then the right earbud stopped listing to my voice. It could hear the other person's translation, but I could not activate mine. Put both buds back into the case and reconnected. Same thing - worked fine for a while, then the right one stopped working again. As for the quality of the translation, it was OK. Most of the time, it got the idea across, but it frequently repeated the word "tadpole", and spit out other such garbage. In the end, it's really too much trouble to use them. I don't know if this is a defective product, or if the technology simply isn't well-designed. Either way, they are not worth $150. Using the translator on my phone is a little more trouble, but at least it's dependable. By the way, I didn't have a chance to see if the downloaded language worked without a network connection. That was really my motivation for buying them. However, the problems outweighed any convenience they offer.

We have used this translator for more than a year, it works very well, a few weeks ago it had problems with the connection and it did not translate, but most of the time of use it works great, there is a time of about 5 seconds that it takes to translate but I think that is normal because it is a cheap product from this company, I imagine that the high-end ones are better. In short, it works very well and is worth it, translating with more logic than Google Translate!

Hi guys, I’ve bought this product that helps us in communication when traveling and especially to translate communication between my family and my partner. We have tried it and is really good. Works perfectly with my language (Slovak) and English. We have also tried my partners language (Portuguese) to Slovak/English and no issues. Battery is good and you can use it even on a daily basis as normal earplugs. The shape is good and my ears doesn’t hurt me, and they have noise cancellation. highly recommend Thanks guys

A pesar de que tarda un poco en traducir y que no debe haber mucho ruido al rededor porque traduce otras cosas. A mi en general me gustó mucho.
