Bonded MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter, 2 Pack (2 Pack)

I tired of hassling with powerline Ethernet and installed an older action t moca adapter and one of the cheapie moca routers they sell. It worked good until the adapter quit working so I decided to try a set of bonded moca 2.0 adapters instead. Tried these because the price is right and because it has mostly good reviews. I couldn't be happier! They work great and the speed is massively improved!

Powerline adapters in my 15 year old house would puke when you actually push data through them, but these MoCA adapters are not only cheap, but they move data at a continuous stream at near the rated speeds with no dropped packets. No reboots in the 2 months I've been running them. The ports are labeled really ambiguously but you have a 50/50 chance to get it right on the first try anyway. Very tempted to buy some more.

Works with my exiting Actiontec Bonded MoCA 2.0 which cost about $70.00 more for a pair. They are white so they blend in more with the wall. I see no difference in performance between the two manufactures. It replace one of my Actiontec when it went out after I tried to install an coax amp to improve my signal from a coax splitter. I had a splitter for the modem and the Actiontec from the wall so the MOCA signal could go back into the coax and talk to the other Actiontec on the net. It worked for years, but Xfinity did something and I had to remove the splitter and now I have to find a work around since I can't send the signal back into the same Coax the modem is plug into.

Worked well for 48 hours, then it stopped. If the items were reset they would work until a large package of information was sent and they would go back offline

This product works. I have no issue in connectivity. However, I am sure it is not "bonded" as it stated. I tested with iperf3. The best throughput I can get is around 310Mbps, not 1Gbps as advertised. I tried multiple settings. I even directly connected two MOCAs with a coaxial cable and only got improved to about 330Mbps. When I use ethernet cable to computer two computers, I did get 990+ Mbps. So it is not the problem of my computers. --------------------------------------- I later found an information regarding testing Moca. Because of the much bigger latency, a larger buffer is needed to get the desired speed. When I changed the buffer size, I did get 950+Mbps speed. The switch we need to add is "-w 1M".

I bought this for my 2nd bedroom where Wifi speed through my wireless connected Eero device was varying from 10-90 Mbps . The improvement was to make the Bedroom Eero have a wired connection to the router, but it was difficult to put in a permanent Ethernet cable. But we have coax connectors in all rooms. This pair of Kiwee devices solves this issues nicely. Very simple setup, one is connected to an Ethernet port of my router, i.e. my main Eero, the other to the Ethernet port of the Bedroom Eero. Both are also connected to the Coax ports in the respective room. I am now getting 200+ MBits on Speedtest. Just remember the COM coax port gets connected with the wall.

I'm surprised how easy and well this works. A bit expensive but worth the money. I'm able to reach transfer rates that are as good as if I was connected to the router.

Used for half a year now. Easy to setup, pretty much plug and play. Just make sure the coax cables in your system is all good. Used to get 110mbps ethernet from my router to router extender setup. With these i get 740mbps ethernet. Wifi from 50mbps to 19mbps (wifi won’t be as good due to the rebars and lots of interferences, take these results with a pinch of salt) Stable performance all the way. More than enough for an average user like me (gaming, watching videos/movies etc.)
