KitchenAid Universal Tool and Gadget Set, 14 Piece, Black

This is a great starter pack of high-quality kitchen tools. Everything feels sturdy and well made, and it covers many of the basics you’d need whether you're cooking or baking. A solid choice if you're just setting up your kitchen or want to upgrade your everyday essentials. Easy to clean in the washing machine or by hand.

Many of my non-scratch utensils were plastic which melt if left in the pan at all, so I was looking to upgrade to something more heat resistant and durable. This 14 piece gadget set was a good chance to replace a lot of my kitchen utensils all in one go. This sitcom with a 4-piece dry measuring cup set, a 5-piece measuring spoons set, a can opener, a peeler, a spuatula a non-slotted spoon and a slotted turner. These are all non-scratch which is great. I quickly discovered something that wasn’t apparent from the listing: the top of the utensils are black plastic with the KitchenAid logo etched into it, while the bottom are silicone. So…. the whole thing isn’t heat resistant. If you have a big pot and leave the spoon (or any of the other utensils inside), the top will Mel when it touches the side of the pan. Ugh. I was very disappointed to see that. The other thing that I was a little disappointed about is that the measuring cups are kind of squat: not that wide but deeper. It makes it touch to store the largest cup sized one in my drawer - it’s just too tall, so I have to leave 1-cup measuring cup in my sugar canister all the time. That also was disappointing. I like that all of the utensils except the can opener can be placed in the dishwasher. Other than the problem with the measuring cup and the top of these being plastic, this is would be a great starter set for a bridal or house warming gift or a good sturdy replacement set if yours are getting worn out. This is a great value - just watch out for the melt factor.

This KitchenAid gadget set is well made and durable. I'm pretty hard on kitchen gadgets, so I try to purchase good quality that will withstand some rough treatment. I've always found that with KitchenAid and this set is no different. Each piece is sturdy and it's all holding up very well, even under my less than gentle hand. The spatula and spoon are a little on the heavy side, but other than that, everything is great. I'd say this set would make a nice little gift for a house warming or wedding shower.

All Black everything! 😎😎😎 14 piece sturdy set for the kitchen! I wanted it for the Go go gadget can opener!!! And bottle opener! Kitchen aid makes such great can openers! This may cost but it’s worth makes it cost effective! The measurement items are made sturdy and utensils for cooking have heavy duty handles! Not only that but the peeler is awesome for potatoes, yams, lemons, limes apple skin and etc. The spatula is cool and flat , which makes great 🥞 pancakes ! Highly recommended! Great investment and asset to your kitchen utensils for preparation of food.

KitchenAid's Tool and Gadget Set has a nice mixture of tools with an overall great build quality and feel. The can opener and peeler are the best made with a nice mixture of metal and plastic and a sturdy and robust feel. The spatulas and serving spoon are also well made and substantial. The measuring spoons and cups are the cheapest looking and feeling, but they work fine. Actually everything in the set works perfectly. I've found the peeler to be smooth and easy to hold. The can opener is effective. The turning spatula resists high heat and doesn't melt. The can opener is not dishwasher safe, but everything else came through the dishwasher perfectly. All in all... an excellent set.

I couldn't be happier with this KitchenAid set. All of the pieces are durable, and they can be put in the dishwasher (excepting the can opener), which is a great time-saver. I especially like the peeler, which is comfortable to hold and doesn't slip out of my hand as I'm using it. While this set seems pricey, it is worth the ~$55 cost, since each accessory included is something I actually use a lot, and I have easily spent more replacing cheaply made spatulas and spoons that melt as I'm cooking with them. My husband and I are both pleased with the quality and convenience of these kitchen accessories, and I would not hesitate to order them again.

You're not buying the name, you're buying the quality behind the name. KitchenAid just makes great kitchen products; I've honestly never been disappointed and it has not changed at all with this set. It feels built to last. As soon as you pull the tools out of this set, you can feel the quality. They have a durable, weighty design and come with the basics needed for an excellent starter set or even just upgrading your main set. It makes a great gift, but it ships in its own box, so presentation will be less than desirable. Overall, this is a fantastic premium set.

This is a good starter set, but seems ridiculously priced at $60. Each tool is good quality, not something that'll break or wear out quickly. Still, $60seems high. Would like it better if it included a whisk.
