Rothenberger 52000 Rocut 0-42mm Plastic Pipe Shear

I, like many others I imagine have bought cheap alternatives of this tool. They have all proved useless so eventually I decided to part with some hard earned and get the real thing. I should have bought these years ago as the outlay is soon earned back in time saving on the job. Only used on 40mm solvent weld pipe so far but the time saving is huge. No need to deburr like you do when cutting with a saw just cut glue and assemble. Perfect square cut every time

Great cutters for plastic pipe

Swift delivery. No more hacksaw dust and wonky and burred ends! Can be tricky on 40mm in tight spots. Almost worth all the money. Cost is only reason I give them 4 star.

Rothenberger quality tool

A sturdy bit of kit that gives a clean cut on plastic pipe.

Doing a new bathroom install, and with plumbing not being my day job I didn't want to buy separate cutters for 15mm supply pipe and larger waste pipe. Also produces much better cuts than a hacksaw. On 15mm speedfit barrier pipe you get a nice clean square cut, perfect for leak free joints into fittings. Some reviews complained that these cutters crushed waste pipes, but I only found this to be a problem if you're trying to snip a tiny section off the end of a pipe. One tip, put the pipe in the jaws so that the point of the cutting blade which is mid way along the blade, enters the pipe first. This gives a cleaner cut with less chance of crushing. The blade is replaceable should you use it lots and wear it out, but I doubt I'll need to try that anytime soon.

Cir-clip came out on me then the ratchet mechanism just blew up and stopped working. Not worth the money

Been using these for 30 years and just decided to buy a new set even though I still have two others in good order. Sometimes it’s just nice to have something new. Perfect quality cutters, they last forever and I have never ever bought a replacement blade for them. These are as good as they come and I wouldn’t even bother with anything else

Auch bei diesem Produkt überzeugt Rothenberger mit der Qualität. Sauber verarbeitet wie man das so von anderen Rothenberger Produkten gewöhnt ist. Klinge ist scharf und lässt sich bei bedarf auch wechseln, was ich besonders gut im sehr regelmäßigen, manchmal etwas raueren Baustellenalltag finde. Klare Kaufempfehlung und Hände weg von den ganzen günstigen alternativen, außer ihr braucht die Schere wirklich nur sehr sehr selten.

ROTHENBERGER non ha bisogno di molte presentazioni, ho già attrezzatura di questa casa ed infatti non potevo che rimanerne soddisfatto. COME SI PRESENTA: bella robusta e di ottima fattura, è proprio ben curata nei dettagli, ottima impugnatura e lama di qualità. QUALITA': taglio ben pulito, sistema leveraggio a cricco eccellente (si taglia senza sforzi come se fosse burro), doppia gola(sede) per lavori differenti, bella la doppia funzione della leva di sgancio(rilascio parziale o totale) CONCLUSIONE: è una cesoia tubi di qualità medio/alta, il suo prezzo medio in negozio è di circa 55€ (a mio parare prezzo onesto), e la consiglio a tutti quelli che senza spendere una cifra non vogliono rinunciare alla buona qualità delle lavorazioni.
