will it hold a speed square?

I Agree- pockets are too small for a speed square - but great for a holding cell phone ( I sewed a small Velcro tab on the pocket to keep it from falling out when bent over), keys, pencil, box knife and a handful of nails or screws- Not a carpenter's tool belt- more like an extra set of pockets

At it's longest adjusted length, how long is this apron.

The top of the apron to the bottom is 21 3/4". Shoulders to c/l app. 26"

Does fit tall men 6' 2"?

Yes, I am 6'. It should fit almost everyone. An extremely large waste may be the exception.

My guess is that it will fit a 45 to 50" waist at least since it is adjustable.
