I’ve tried other natural toothpaste since buying this on repeat and I am back to buying this again. It has a decent texture, it might not be as dense as other toothpaste but this works well for me in terms of keeping my oral hygiene in check. Smells great, feels and looks good. It has proven to be value decent value for money after wasting my money trying other versions of a more natural based paste. Taste took getting used to but it doesn’t taste bad at all. I like that the ingredients are less fussy and chemical based and free of SLS and Flouride.

This toothpaste tastes great and leaves my mouth feeling fresh long after brushing. My teeth feel thoroughly clean and smooth every time I use it. I also really appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients and free from unnecessary chemicals, as we’re actively trying to reduce those in our home. That’s a big bonus for us. Straight off, I was expecting a tradeoff in cleaning, for the avoidance of the nasty elements you get in traditional toothpaste. But this was absolutely not the cases, both my wife and I agree that the cleaning ability of this toothpaste actually supasses the colgate total we previously used. I use this in conjunction with the prebiotic mouthwash. I find myself having to double check my memory in the morning as to whether I have brushed my teeth or not. When I run my tongue over my teeth they still feel freshly brushed after a night's sleep. I assume a lot of this is down to the fact that it doesn't kill the good natural bacteria in your mouth and further supports it with its prebiotic effect, meaning it keeps fighting buildup even after brushing. I checked this product and the mouthwash on the Yuka app and both came up as excellent. It is important to check these healthy/natural products as some surprisingly do still contain toxic and dangerous ingredients, but not this brand, Yuka rates it as excellent.

Love the flavour, it's cleanse well and has improved my gum health.

I love that this toothpaste is fluoride free and SLS free (we all understand that fluoride is helpful in preventing dental caries in children, but no-one knows what the long term effects on adults are from ingesting it over decades). I am not so in love with the activated charcoal, Icelandic moss and tea tree oil. The toothpaste is not quite black, but very dark grey when it comes out of the tube, and it tastes like a combination of mud and pond algae. It didn’t make my mouth feel fresh and pleasant at all – I just wanted to keep rinsing the taste away. It’s also very expensive compared with a regular toothpaste, and I wonder if it really has health benefits that justify the extra cost
