Sparthos Kickback Ankle Straps for Cable Machines

Let me tell you, I've had only 1 of these.!!! It still works great and I've had it for 2 years! I reordered it but got 2 more so I got 3 now lol. But let me tell you, great support, great structure, and made very thorough. Do not go buy the one that is just for your ankles because it does not works as great as this! I mean it works but does not have that stability you are looking for ! This goes around your ankle and wraps around your heels! I absolutely LOVE this!

I’ve been training legs and glutes for a while, and even though ankle straps seem like a simple accessory, a good pair really makes a difference. I decided to try these Sparthos straps mainly for cable kickbacks, and honestly they turned out to be a great choice. One thing I noticed right away is the extra strap at the bottom. It may seem like a small detail, but it actually helps a lot because it keeps the strap stable and prevents it from twisting or sliding during the movement. With other ankle straps I’ve used before, I constantly had to adjust them between sets. With these, they stay in place, which helps me focus more on the exercise and really engage my glutes. They’re also very comfortable around the ankle. The padding is thick and soft, so even when increasing the weight on the cable machine I don’t feel pressure or irritation. The velcro feels strong and the metal D-rings feel solid, which gives me confidence when training with resistance. Another plus is that they’re lightweight and easy to put on and take off, so I keep them in my gym bag and use them for cable exercises and other leg workouts. Overall, if you do cable kickbacks or glute-focused exercises, I highly recommend these. They’re comfortable, stable, and make the movement feel more controlled and effective. For me, they’ve become a staple on my glute training days.

These were super comfortable. They are fully adjustable and fit perfectly. I would sometimes use them with the shoe strap, especially if I was pushing heavy weights, but I usually just used the ankle strap and that was more than adequate. I picked these over a different brand because of the width of the velcro ankle strap. This one is 2 inches wide and nicely thick. Others that I tried were 30% narrower. You might not think that makes a difference, but I could definitely feel it -- the narrow ones felt like I was pulling on a rope while this feels like I'm working the whole ankle instead. It's much better. So after almost 3 years of 2-3 times a week use, I noticed that the stiching holding one of the D rings started coming loose. I'm not sure how much longer it will last. I can still use it because although the stiching between the strap and the ankle pad is coming off, all of the strengh is in the strap itself, and that is still perfectly fine. So even though it looks like one of the D rings is rattling around, once strapped around the anke, everything still functions perfectly. Frankly I'm surprised it has lasted this long. 5-stars.

The strap that goes under the foot is a little long with not a lot of attaching Velcro. I looped all the way onto the ankle wrap Velcro and the other strap around it, so it’s workable and the cushion is great.

Use these every glute day- absolutely love them and highly recommend if you’re thinking about it. I’ve had them for a few years now. Easy to adjust, they’ve held up super well and fit around bulky shoes like Jordans

These straps are amazing!!! I had regular ankle straps for years and they worked fine and served their purpose. However, I always wondered how these are compared to the regular ones and so, I just purchased the Sparthos ankle straps out of curiosity and they worked my behind like nothing else. The bottom strap attachment for your foot is very secure and when you push on cable kickback, it helps you engage your glute from top to bottom. You don't need much weight to feel your glute working. Highly recommend it!
