Teach the uneducated
Just before other people come here and give bad reviews for no reason, let me clear things up. There is no soup section because Nick does not like the idea of soup and that there is so much better foods than just that, so the error is a joke to make people laugh. He is a Masterchef winner and he has made tons of amazing dishes so if you like to call him an inexperienced chef then you better have what he achieved in your backpack before you start talking. Overall, Nick is an amazing chef and his recipes are full of flavour.

Must Have!
I had tried many recipe books before and found some of the ingredients used were too hard to get ahold of in my local supermarkets, or atleast without a hefty pricetag. These recipes are very accessible and are a ton of fun to make. They make me feel like a real chef. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in improving in the kitchen. 10/10

Creative without making you feel underqualified to own a saucepan
I think this is very good. It has that nice balance of feeling a bit more interesting than a basic everyday cookbook, but still being usable by normal people with normal kitchens and normal levels of patience. The recipes feel creative without being completely ridiculous. I like a cookbook that gives you ideas you might not have thought of yourself, but doesn’t immediately require six specialist ingredients, three days of prep and a personality transplant. This feels much more practical than that. It’s good for when you want to cook something with a bit of flavour and personality, but you don’t want the recipe to become a full-time job. The instructions are approachable, and the food feels fun rather than worthy. I also like that it doesn’t talk down to you. It has confidence and energy, but it still feels like something anyone reasonably competent could cook from. That makes it much more useful than the sort of cookbook you flick through once, admire, then quietly abandon. A really good buy if you want recipes that feel modern and creative, but still achievable. Interesting, practical and not annoyingly overcomplicated.

Arrived promptly. It’s a book requested by an eleven year old boy; Gordon Ramsay of the future with a temperament to match! I cannot really comment on the recipes but the book looks colourful and the meals tasty.

Best cookbook I've seen in a long time!
Although I do remember Nick from Master Chef, I haven't been following him on YouTube or Tiktok, so I bought his cookbook without really knowing much about his cooking style past what I saw on TV, but it popped up on Amazon and the recipes appealed to me. I'm so glad Amazon recommended Nicks cookbook! It's not only beautifully photographed and so well organized, I want to make literally EVERY recipe right now! Nothing overly complicated, but everything with a unique twist. I mean can we just talk about the brilliance of turning Eggs Benedict into a SANDWICH!?!?!? This cookbook is packed with good solid cooking techniques and delicious ingredients. Nicks personality shines through even the most concise of the head notes. I'm very excited to work my way through Knife Drop. Also, chuckling at the soup chapter (or lack thereof). Edited to add: I made the browned butter chocolate chip cookies and while they're weren't the quickest cookie recipe I've ever made, the extra effort was 1000% worth it. They're absolutely delicious and the instructions were very easy to follow. Lisa Steele Author of The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook

Nice book, thank you nick!
I think the insertion of QR codes in some pages is life saving, i wish this was a bit more implemented in the book tho, it would have been really unique and a bit more helpful, love the recipies so far!

Zutaten
