Gillette Labs Razor Blade Refills for Men, 9 count

I always say you have to take Amazon reviews with a grain of salt because they're typically written by people who either LOVE the product, or absolutely HATE it; very few middle-ground folks are moved to run straight straightaway to the computer to type up a glowingly mediocre review. I'm gladly perpetuating my assumption on the former ground, because these razors are amazing. It may seem a trivial item to warrant a review, but for a guy with an Irish complexion so rich you can practically see my organs through my skin, an effective/gentle razor ranks high on the "quality-of-life" scale. Now that I'm 46 and can finally grow the facial hair I always wanted, I don't want it anymore. I've been happy with Gillette since I was 16, but lately I'd have to shave upward if I wanted the freckle-faced clarity of shave I once displayed. It felt like that wore the blade out faster and was occasionally subject to razor burn... so I turned to a sea of hipster literature to find a legit double-edge and even a straight-edge razor that were both too frightening for me to use. I think I bought my Gillette Labs Razors by mistake and was actually peeved that they wouldn't fit on my handle. I finally hunkered down and bought the corresponding handle, and - my god - are they fantastic. I still can't believe how smooth a shave they achieve while it feels like I'm using a training razor. *And* they last. At least twice as long (for me). Anyway, I gave the preamble to try to lend some context around the glowing review. I seriously can't imagine anyone having anything bad to say about these - even about the price, at which it's still a huge value. I just hope they keep them around forever now. I officially don't need another razor added into the mix - 5 is plenty. I know Gillette needs to keep innovating to grow sales, but if they stick with this one as is (as I'm sure you'll agree), they'll get enough converts to make up the difference.

You cannot beat this price per quantity. Arrived as expected and shave very clean and close to the skin without any irritation.

These Gillette Labs razor blades seem to be the better ones on the market right now. Each refill has 5 blades to make sure to get close for a clean shave. I've been using these for a while now and they've lasted for a while. As a pilot, I have to shave constantly and have a nice clean shave nearly every day and the blades last for a good while before having to change them out unlike most blades being made. All razor blades are expensive but these do have value for the money.

Great value for the item, these are great blades!!they are very sharp, the smoothness is awesome, durability is there and well Ana the gliding and the blade quantity. Definitely worth the cost and I would recommend it

I went bald a few years but still use razors for that clean shave look. I’ve used so many other brands am was using Harry’s for a long time too. But that brand would always irritate me and cause cuts and scrapes on my head. I’ve been using this blade for a few months now and thankfully I no longer get cuts scratches or lose any blood whatsoever. It’s such a good clean shave and it lasts longer than most other products therefore the cost of it is actually worth it. Overall it’s a good smooth and comfortable shave.

I was surprised at how smooth the lab razor was. I'm retired so I shave every other day and my beard is quite substantial by the second day. This blade is noticeably sharper than prior blades. A winner, Well done Gillette.

The gel strip lasted 2 shaves. Surely bad stock and I can’t even return it as I opened the package. Not a quality I expect from GilletteLabs.
