great learning tool not as fast as a laptop. the pi 5 runs as fast as my laptop
works good. excellent learning tool to begin mining crypto. doesn't make money at its speed, however i like and enjoyed it so i bought the raspberry pi 5, to program my own solo miner

Still a good value, despite competition
These have gone up a little since I bought mine - I guess a lot have due to the RAM shortage - but it's still a solid value for me. Running mine from a massive Li-Ion battery and an Adafruit PowerBoost 1000C, so with a low-power distro of Linux it runs smoothly for quite a while. Other small computers from competitors might outshine it for power/cost ratio, but RPi will have the stronger community for support for a long while, I think.

Great fo IOT
My 3rd purchase and it won't be my last! Great for HAM users like me and IoT projects

Great!
WRONG: Great if you want an old Pi. The thing is loud because of the old capacitors. Sounds like a 90's desktop or dial-up. It works, though. Probably not for long if I had to guess. EDIT: After changing to a proper power supply it sounds much better.

Not the same as original 3B+ -- BUT WORKS GOOD
I have a number of 3B+ cards, and I needed to replace one. The image from an original will not boot on these cards! This new one needs the newer Raspios for the firmware installed on this new 3B+, The new OS uses the dreaded Wayland rather than X11 (sadly the way of many distributions). Wayland degrades Linux from being a multi-user system, to being a single user desktop, like winders... Which for me is a problem. I'll see if X11 is available for the raspianos, before returning these pseudo-3B+ cards. My Ignorance ! Yes my VERY OLD image (shows you how long these things run at 24/7) didn't work, but the GOOD FOLKS at RASPBERRY PI do maintain (so far) an old version (raspios-buster) that works great with this card AND still has X11 (Xorg) display. All is good, but I did have to make a new image with all the libraries and apps that I use, which I'll archive with the rest.. The screen shot shows the main PC serving up an X11 display for a Pi3 desktop, which in turn is serving up a desktop for a second Pi3, and finally my main PC serving up a another desktop for the second Pi3 that the first Pi3 is displaying through my PC as well. Both Pi3's are set to boot without any graphics (console only). All the displays are actually being rendered by the main PC. All are at the native resolution of the main PC. -- X11 is just so great compared to VNC! -- I guess this turned out to be an X11 ad...

New model has updated power source
I’ve had problems with these but I have recently discovered that they have remodeled these with new power source so even tho it didn’t work for me for what I was using it for the item is perfectly fine and works as should. Just beware that some old software won’t work on these new models. Hopefully this helps anyone else that has had this issue

Another good Raspberry Pi
Works as advertised. Another great Raspberry Pi. I did find that the SD card seems to get stuck, but it can be pulled out without damage to the card or the device. I would hardly call this a con though, because you don’t want to risk the card getting dislodged.

I mean, it's a raspberry pi
This one I am still using for some projects where I need the lowest running power as possible, plus, I'm not a big fan of the newer raspberry pi's because of the mini-hdmi port. Come on... as if I need to have another adapter. This model fits the bill and is cheaper, so why not?

Pi3B used here has similar layout to Pi2.
The Pi3B was used to power a Duplex Hotspot for Digital Mobile Radio -- works well.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Still a fantastic little board for projects and learning
Even though newer Raspberry Pi models exist, the 3B+ remains a reliable, well-rounded board. It’s perfect for Home Assistant, small servers, or learning Linux. The quad-core CPU and onboard Wi-Fi work smoothly, and Ethernet is gigabit (limited by USB, but still faster than older versions). I’ve used several of these for automation, media streaming, and even network monitoring — all run stable 24/7. It boots quickly, stays cool with a small heatsink, and has excellent community support. Still one of the best boards for hobby projects and light embedded use.
