RØDE SMR Premium Shock Mount

Very pleased with this product as I needed a shock mount for my Rode NT USB and desk stand. Works perfectly and eliminates distracting sounds from bumping the desk. Very pleased with purchase.

Very good, the stabilisation is allot better than my previous stand.

I use this shock mount to attach my NT-USB to my PSA1 arm. The microphone arm is clamped to my desk, so adding a shock mount was essential in order to minimise vibrations. Since installing, vibrations and rumblings are a thing of the past. The included pop filter has two layers that are separated slightly and is very effective.

The reason I give it 4 stars its because one of the suspending springs was popped out of the socket and as much as I pushed it in it did not snap in place, the head of it missed a bit of the ledge that would keep it in place but regardless of this issue I never had a problem with that, it remained in place, pop filter has two layers and blocks unwanted sounds very well. If you plan to pair this with rode nt- usb keep in mind that you will have issues accessing the knobs on the side, but if that is not an issue I recommend this product plus it kind of has an unique look.

Works great with my NT usb microphone..i had to make sure the shockmount didnt block all the side knobs and headphone jack, and it doesnt block all the knobs..the first knob is blocked partially..but you can twist the top with your finger..the other knob and headphone jack are completely unobscured and can be used freely. I would definitely recommend this shockmount if you have the same microphone as me.

As an AudioBook producer, narrator, DJ, ident/jingle creator, I am a massive fan of Røde microphones; and therefore, use the relevant accessories. Cannot recommend highly enough... :D

Die Mikrofonspinne macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und kommt sehr gut verpackt geliefert. Sie macht einen sehr soliden und hochwertigen Eindruck auch wenn sie "nur" aus Kunststoff ist. Die Spinne vermeidet das Schwingungen die auf das Mikrofon ausgeübt werden, auf die Aufnahme übertragen werden. Das ganze wurde bei mir an meinen Rode PSA1 Mikrofonarm befestigt und hält dort mein Rode NT-USB Mikrofon. Die Installation war sehr einfach, Mikrofon reinstecken, fest schrauben, Popfilter einfach rein stecken und dann noch mal an das Stativ/Mikrofonarm schrauben. Der Aufbau hat vllt. 2 min gedauert. Das ganze hält auch mein NT-USB kopfüber, hatte da ein paar Bedenken weil die Lyre Halterung auf dem Bild sehr filigran aussieht, dem ist aber nicht so. Sie wirkt sehr stabil und unterstützt eine große Auswahl von Rode Mikrofonen. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der Popfilter auf Metall. Er hat 2 Lagen mit einem kleinen Hohlraum er ist entfernbar und aus waschbar.

This thing is awesome. Fits my Rode NT USB mic perfectly. It does make one of the mixer knobs a little difficult to change but i don't use the knobs so had no effect on me. The shock mount feels really sturdy and solid. The pop shield works really well. Try blowing air until the front and see if you notice any air coming out. Definitely gets rid of the plosive noises. Very expensive compared to other shock mount/pop shield combos but well worth it.
