I got all of the books made by guitar head, for one simple reason, clear in images, black/white, clear in explanation, trustworth and eperienced method.

This book is great.I could only strum chords very slowly until I got this.It took me 4 weeks to get through this with some great advice and slowly bit by bit opens doors.Everything is easy to understand and as long as you practice you will learn a lot.I am now a lot more confident with my playing .

I’m not one to write reviews but for this I felt like I had too. I’ve never played guitar but I have always wanted too. I bought a guitar and tried teaching myself but couldn’t find any good videos to learn. So I skipped that and tried reading the music, turns out i don’t know how to read it, or at least not well. I found this book, and I was skeptical. But upon reading I kid you not, I can now read the chords (learned in less than 30 minutes). This book explains in great detail how to read the music AND how to play it, and position your fingers. This is definitely a beginner book, I went in knowing nothing besides what I learned from trial and error and I already understand so much ! They say by the 14th day you can play a song but the first lesson teaches you how to play a snippet of happy birthday. Such a great find, and incredibly useful to any beginner who is looking to learn from the beginning !
