Warriors: The Ultimate Guide:: A Comprehensive Guide to the Warrior Cats, Their Clans, and the Secrets Behind the Series (Warriors Field Guide)

Interestingly, I have searched on line 100s if not 1000s of times under the word “warrior” and never came across this popular and famous series about the cat clans. Since I knew absolutely nothing about this book series I decided to purchase (Warriors: The Ultimate Guide by Erin Hunter and illustrated by Wayne McLoughlin) this 222 page hardcover volume to learn something about the numerous cat clans. I guess this series is aimed at children but since I am a cat (and other animals) lover I found this short biographical review of more than 75 cats very interesting. A beautiful color illustration of each cat is shown along with a historical reference and the clan each cat belongs to is explained. This provides a good overview of what to expect when exploring the numerous books on these warrior cats. The first few pages show a map and guide of the forest and river areas where the cat clans hunt and live. This is followed about the clans and the members of that clan. After a short introduction the first part covers the “Thunderclan.” Some of the members include: Bluestar, Pinestar, Firestar, Sandstorm, Yellowfang, and Lionblaze. “Shadowclan” cats are covered next and include Raggedstar, Brokenstar, Nightstar, Tigerstar, and many other cats. The third section explores the cats of the “Windclan.” They are Tallstar, Onestar, Crowfeather, Nightcloud and Breezepelt and Heathertail. The fourth clan is the “Riverclan.” There are nine cats in this clan. The fifth is the “Skyclan” with four cats in this clan. The remainder of the book tells about the tribe of the rushing water, the early settlers and animals outside the clans. I found this book interesting and entertaining and may purchase some of the books in this series in the future. If you are into this cat warrior series this book gives an excellent introduction into the many clans and the cats that belong to them. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. The product pictures do not do this justice, check the reviewers photos and videos!!! This hardcover book has gorgeous illustrations, detailed maps, my niece is going to freak out when she sees it. I haven’t even read warrior cats and I want to read this! Super high quality, absolutely worth the money!

This is a really good book suitable for any Warriors fan in your life. With full color pages featuring brand new art, this book truly immerses you into the world of warriors. I have referred to this book multiple times while reading the series books and they have info all the way up to the end of the broken code series.

My daughter loves these books and was so excited to get this one for her birthday.

Overall, I enjoyed this book- not that any of these characters are new to me. I've almost read the whole series, and I'm about finished with Thunder Rising. Anyway, some of the pictures aren't very clear( Oakheart is a silhouette, and Midnnight does not look like a badger...), and there are typos. I would recommend this book to apprentices ( beginners) in the warrior series, and to warriors ( regular readers). I honestly didn't think some of the characters would look like they do, but whatever. The book includes spoilers of The First Battle-really, most of the Dawn of the Clans arc- and almost every book there is in the series. Apprentices, beware! This book spoils all others..... But mostly, this book was well worth buying. It includes information not included anywhere else in the series. May StarClan light your path!

Absolutely flawless, no scratches or folds on the cover and pages. Very informative in regards to this book collection(warriors), talks bout the characters, camps, territory and has short stories. Amazed at how premium it really is. Loved it.

Very happy with this purchase I bought for a gift! Great quality and the pictures are vivid and beautifully done. The write up on each cat in each clan is perfect too, like an encyclopedia (now everyone knows I’m old haha) Nicely organized and well worth the money in my opinion.

Excelente el terminado del libro, y sus ilustraciones. Tiene información hasta el arco del "código roto". Es cierto que como regalo, hay que tener cuidado de no dárselo a quien aun esta inmerso en los primeros libros. Espero que en algún momento, nos ofrezcan la version en español. Por el momento, se disfruta mucho el pase de hojas con la información y las ilustraciones, que seguramente debe existir inconsistencias en la referencia en la historia en alguna parte, pero también es parte de la diversión de un fan de los Warrior encontrarlas.

A mi hija le encantó. Es seguidora de la saga y le parece muy útil para poner cara a cada uno de los personajes.
