Strong, Durable & Great for Outdoor Use!
This Kevlar cord is impressively strong and versatile for a wide range of outdoor and DIY uses. The braided construction feels durable, and it handles tension really well without fraying easily. It’s lightweight but surprisingly tough, making it useful for camping, fishing, survival kits, wind chimes, gear repair, and general utility use. I also like that it’s flame-resistant, which gives a little extra peace of mind for outdoor activities around heat or fire. The spool keeps everything neat and easy to work with, and the cord cuts cleanly without unraveling too badly. Pros: ✔️ Very strong for its size ✔️ Durable braided Kevlar material ✔️ Flame-resistant design ✔️ Lightweight and easy to carry ✔️ Great for camping, fishing, and DIY projects Cons: ❌ Can be stiff compared to standard rope ❌ Harder to knot tightly in some situations ❌ Ends may fray slightly when cut Overall, this is a reliable heavy-duty cord that works well for outdoor enthusiasts, survival gear, crafts, or anyone needing a compact but strong rope option.

Good stuff, knots hold well
I chose the 0.8mm size (8-strand hollow-braid). 1st impressions using this cord -- I expected this cord to be round like a tiny rope, but it is flat like a tiny shoelace. Simple knots like square knot or bowline work with this cord. (It is NOT slick like nylon monofilament. Yeah, knots weaken the cord. There's sailor and mountaineer lore about proper knots for Kevlar.) This cord resists fraying at a metal hole, but not extraordinary. A freshly drilled hole can cut the cord. Chamfered hole, no fraying. Cord can be cut with a sharp knife, but scissors is better. Even with very sharp scissors, the cut end still frays. Unlike cotton thread, wetting the frayed end does not help getting it through a tiny hole. Can't melt the cut end to stop the fray. (It doesn't get sticky with heat, it just burns.) Soak with glue and then cut is the only way I found to stop the fray. Elmer's or water-soluble glue is less mess. First use was tying a tweezer to my backpack. The tiny tool is easily lost while pulling other stuff out of a zipper pocket. This cord works great. It is almost as easy to use as cotton string, but will last much longer.

Using this thread to hand sew custom leather hand gun holsters and knife sheaths.
Good product. I’m using this product to hand sew custom Hand gun holsters and knife sheaths to be more abrasion resistant and cut resistant than nylon or other leather sewing products that don’t stand up as well under heavy use. You will need special dedicated scissors to cut this thread. Regular scissors won’t cut it, just kind of smushed it around.

Works better then expected.
Been using this cord to hang pictures on a brick wall in my basement. No hangers will stick to the wall long so I thought I would try to put a screw in to the board running above the brick and then tie this string to it and then to the frame and just let them hang against the wall. I wanted something I knew could hold the weight of the frames and glass. This cord is very tough and holds multiple pictures in frames without any issue. The cord is also very thin for being so strong making it hard to see against the brick wall.

Not what I thought I was ordering
I ordered 9KM DWLIFE Kevlar Cord– High Tensile Strength Kevlar Thread, 50–1500lb Flame-Resistant String for Fishing, Kite Line, Wind Chimes, Camping & Outdoor Survival Rope. I bought it for restringing 4-5 sets of wind chimes. Getting a tiny roll of what looks like thin cord is not what I thought I was getting. It might work for Jewelry but I would have to open the package first and I am not going to do that. Hopefully the pictures shows the size sufficiently so others do not make the same mistake I did. I am returning it as there is nothing I can think of to do with this other than add it to a pile of clutter. I would not buy this again for sure.

Good quality
Good quality, came as described, though less on a long spool and more a little flat out (no change to product quality). I pulled my kevlar very tighly while stitching and had no issues with snapping. I sewed it through 50mm kevlar wicks (with tiny stitches) and it's currently holding well. I liked the vivid black as it makes it easy to see the quality and size of your stitches. I am yet to use it while on fire, will update if there is any issues.

Muy útil y súper resistente
Súper remsistente, es difícil de trabajar con el, pero su versatilidad, fortaleza y resistencia son innegables. Además es a prueba de fuego, de hecho a menos que se insista en exceso no se enciende con un encendedor de butano

NOT WHAT I PAID FOR
At $10 a Metre very expensive , did not get 200ft only 100ft, 31metres. NOT GOOD. Does not work for the intended purpose too thin for windchimes.
