Is it compatible with thrustmaster wheel

I believe so, I do not use Thrustmaster, but it has multiple fixture points for both the wheel and peddles, so I think it can accommodate a variety of platforms. 👍

Which playseat mat is best for this? does the normal one fit or do you need the xl?

I've got normal size .. but suggest the xl .. hope u got logitech pro wheel and pedals m8 .. amazing

How easy does it store or fold down?

To make sure there is not compromise in stability, the foldability is left out. In the design and use of high quality materials, we instead tried to keep the weight as light as possible. Wheel + pedals will probably already weigh more. Without wheel and pedals it's light enough to move it around the house. I'm not at all a strong person, but can easily lift it up.

Is the seating position suitable for chiildren?

As long as they fit within the minimum size, that should be fine.
