Audison Forza AF M6D AUDISON D Class 6 CH Amplifier - 6 x 130W at 4Ω

This is one of three Audison amps I am using to power a little 2 door Jaguar F Type convertible. Each door has a tweeter mid and woofer, a midrange working as center in the dash, behind each seat there are mid bass drivers in custom enclosures and in the footwell of the passenger side there is a 10x8" oval subwoofer firing downward. The system rocks. I was really concerned that the electrical system wasn't going to support (any) of the amps but they are so efficient that the Jag has no problems. Twice in the last 6 months I had an overheating issue but that was during a hot Texas summer day when the system had been running for a while and I had the top down. The amps are mounted in very tight space in the trunk with little room to breathe. The other two amp are an 8 channel DSP and a mono, all Audison Forza. This amp, in particular, is a workhorse. Serious power making great midbass. One thing that Audison doesn't do is have an input for a hardwired radar detector that mutes the system so you can hear the radar alert. I think Helix does this. Had I known this I would have built the system using their products because that is a super nice feature. The performance of all the Audison products have been top notch. I also purchased the Bluetooth module which allows me to circumvent the head unit and play from my phone to the amps directly through Bluetooth. Finding a reputable installer, even in a huge Texas city can be challenging. Not every installer can handle a DSP install so if that's the route you intend on going, do your homework and ask to see some pictures of builds they have done and they should be able to listen to something. Be careful and weary of the name droppers or owners who tell you they've done systems in tons of exotic cars. That's a red flag. Most of the time quality installers don't brag. They show and let you decide.
