We purchased this with an Onlyfire drop in pan/burner and they work great together.

works just as expected, and love the ease of use

I bought this item along with an OnlyFire 24 inch pan. When it comes to the installation keep in mind that neither this item or the OnlyFire pan come with a drilled plate to accommodate the spark igniter. OnlyFire does not respond to emails sent to their customer support mailbox, so I ended up having to drill the solid plate that came with the pan to be able to use the spark igniter. Other than that it is a high quality item and installation was pretty easy.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Made my own fire pit and needed a good quality gas controller and ignitor. Fit the bill perfectly. Definitely recommend.

Revamped our old wood burning firpit switched center to propane . Very easy install made a platform for control .results awesome .

The igniter doesn’t work good. The propane regulator doesn’t work good either. When it does light up, it burns uncontrollably even when the regulators is on low when it starts it does this big poof. Scary scary stuff. I didn’t have to return the product. I was told to dispose of it, or keep it or do whatever I want. It is going in the trash. I will feel guilty donating this. This is not safe I am going to buy another one from Celestial fire. I bought one here on Amazon for another fire pit and it is top-notch.

I ended up needing to buy a longer 10’ hose for it so I could bring it under the paver circle. I had absolutely no problem with it and it adjusts the flame at the propane tank with the red nob.

So i installed This in a fire pit. I was a bit disappointed because it's a very short quarter turn from off to full on. I have other gas valves that are much more variable. the second thing is that the igniter does not work very well. i've had to use a secondary ignition source . I'm looking to replace the piezoelectric lighter. it looks very nice and was otherwise easy to install

The good : regulator works fine, I can get tall flames etc. Easy to install The bad : Ignition feature is useless. Tiny weeny sparks that have no chance to ignite anything. Hissing sound can be heard but not sure if that's to be expected or not. My lava rocks darken with black residue very quickly but again but sure if that's expected or not.

Although product is well built the enclosed documentation should be specify the Air Mixing Valve supplied is for the largest BTU rating , it should be noted on the documents there are 2 other smaller rated ones available which would eliminate the need for the extra valve on the tank. Also the diagram of the Air Mixing Valve in upside down on the installation guide , make sure you go by the stamped arrow on it not the diagram.

I have not yet tried it because my install is delayed because it did not include the igniter mounting plate and hardware. The video implies it is included but it wasn’t.

This seems a very durable part. It’s a bit bulky for what it does. But I do like it’s fully enclosed.
