This product transformed my grilling life. I was reluctant to move from grates, but this is so well-made and easier to clean. I am a surprise convert. The product fits perfectly and is very, very well made. Not cheap, but cheaper than a new grill

This thing is a beast, worked and fit flawlessly in my searwood 600. Cooking was great, made eggs and bacon. No issues was easy to cook with and cleanup was a snap. Once clean oiled it up wiped down and put it back in the box. If you are looking for a griddle insert this is the one. Weber makes another fine product.

I bought a Weber Spirit gas grill some years ago thinking I would grill on it because of the convenience over charcoal. Well, I haven’t used it much. I still prefer grilling over charcoal. I saw this griddle insert, and I wanted it. But, it seemed like a lot of money for a piece of steel. I finally bit the bullet and bought it when it went on sale. It’s awesome! It is pricey, but it is very heavy gauge steel, which makes it durable and even heating. It has been great for cooking bacon, smash burgers, and scrambled eggs. I think it is well worth the money, and now I have a use for my Spirit grill. Nice job, Weber!

Perfect addition to my Weber grill. Follow the seasoning and cleaning instructions. Made some great smash burgers and caramelized onions. Cooked vegetable and meat skewers to perfection. Plan on cooking any and everything on this. Not sure if I will ever go back to the grill grates.

This thing weighs nearly 30 POUNDS! 30 POUNDS!! Yes, it’s a huge chunk of metal, and you are going to pay for each ounce, but it will clearly last if cared for. Weber claims that the griddle is pre-seasoned but recommends two additional layers of seasoning for optimal results. Each layer of seasoning requires 30 minutes of heat at 450-500°F. The fit is very good, not excellent, but very good. There’s a good 1.5” of room horizontally and maybe 0.5” vertically. They might have left the room to allow someone’s fingers to fit underneath when removing the griddle, but I would have preferred full coverage. Still, the griddle has a high-quality matte black finish and distributes heat evenly. It’s a must-have, in my opinion. The amount of time I’ve saved from not having to clean underneath the griddle is worth all the money this thing costs :)

Well constructed Heavy duty. Heats fast and retains heat. Fits my Weber grill perfectly. It’s very heavy. Why 4 stars and not 5? Even though it says pre-seasoned, the instructions want you to follow a lengthy process to season the griddle.

Although the price of this seemed kinda steep it is a very nice griddle insert for my Weber Genesis II E-315 grill, so "Buy Once, Cry Once" applies. So far I have only used for smash burgers w/butter toasted buns and a group breakfast (eggs, sausages, pancakes) but it worked great. Lots of space for making multiple things at once so all food can be ready at same time. I was worried about food sticking but it wasn't a problem and I love that you can use stainless steel utensils without fear if scratching. Post cooking cleanup was easy. I doubt I'll ever go back to using regular grill grates again.

Quality product good price on sale transformed bbq to another level. Never going back to grates. ALittle learning curve for cooking times
