Fits Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ6 ball head
As a Universal L-Bracket, this isn't without its issues. On my camera this blocks both the battery compartment and the side ports which is less than ideal but not a deal breaker for me as I was far more concerned about it fitting on my Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ6 ball head. Which it does. So far I've had no issues with it coming loose from the clamp but given that ball-head has a reputation for dropping cameras I'm being extra vigilant. This L-Bracket seems nicely made. No issues with the locking screw or the joint bolts which seems very solid. At £20 this certainly doesnt break the bank and despite the issues specific to my setup (and which would be an issue with any universal bracket) I'm really very happy with it.

Amazing value
I don't often write product reviews but when I think the item is either excellent or rubbish, then I will. This is five star excellent. It fits my Canon 5D MkIII exactly, leaving access to the ports on left hand side of the camera when looking from the back. (Remote shutter release is, for me, the important one). It fits my Canon 1DX, but because the camera is "taller" the hinged rubber covers will not open, denying access to those ports. I'm not worried about this because I bought the L-Bracket for my 5D rather than the 1DX. There are two screws at the ends of the Arca-style plates. These can be nipped up gently with an Allen hex key when the bracket is in situ to make the fit on the camera really tight. I didn't buy the cheapest bracket. My fear was that these would be sloppily engineered using soft metal. This Pig Iron bracket is the real deal and cheaper than some. A quibble? There's got to be a quibble. The corners near the joining of the two pieces to form the "L" could have been gently rounded. They are not sharp or dangerous, but do feel slightly uncomfortable in the palm of the hand. Having said that, the bracket, camera and lens will be on top of a tripod when in action so that minor quibble can probably be ignored.

Almost perfect
Canon 5D series and different (arca swiss) ball heads.Works perfect. Feels very sturdy and it does the job. It does get in the way of the remote trigger but the simple solution is to slide it a bit to the side to make enough space (or use the 5d IV :) ).I was hoping to use my current blackrapid screw but unfortunately it does not fit. I did some research and this one had the potential to work but unfortunately it didn't. It does have a place to screw it but it just sticks out from the bottom (see picture). It does the trick but it's not ideal. The provided screw is ok but nowhere near the quality of blackrapid. I tried other screws but they also don't fit (manfrotto). This is why I give 4 stars as I would like to be able to use other screws that give me more peace of mind.Overall I'm very pleased with this bracket and is definitely good value.

Very useful
Good fit for my EOS RP. I am able to access all of the ports and the battery compartment. The articulated screen is restricted but I expected that. It is quite heavy but looks well made and I am happy with my purchase.

Great bracket at reasonable price
A reasonably priced and well made and finished L bracket. I use it on a Fuji X-T5 and it works well and protects the base of the camaera. You do have to be careful aligning it not to obstruct the battery door.

Secure L Bracket tested with Canon 6D MKii and Canon 60D
I bought this Pig Iron L-Bracket for use with my Canon 6D Mkii and Canon 60D. Very happy with the fit on both. Each feels very secure and supported when used in landscape or portrait positions. The screw and the L Bracket itself keeps the camera in position with no slippage. Much better than relying on the ball head position to access Portrait position. Battery compartment is fully accessible on both cameras at all times.Being universal bracket there are some points to note, none of which are deal breakers for me:Canon 6D Mkii:- Landscape position screen will flip out full 180 degrees, but obviously no twist available due to the L bracket.- Portrait position, depending on your ball head the screen will flip out about 95 degrees, so maybe best to put screen in position before attaching L Bracket.- In either position, open the HDMI and port compartment before attaching Bracket. The mike compartment however you will need to slide the L bracket away from the side to use the mike cable.Canon 60D:- Landscape position screen will flip out ALMOST 180 degrees. You can slightly angle the bracket to achieve or just open into position before putting the L Bracket on.- Portrait position as above- Ports, open the flap before mounting the L-bracket. In snug position all ports are available except for mike. As per above, to access mike you need to slide the bracket away from the side and secure. As I say non of these are an issue for me as I don't shoot video, so happy to give full 5 stars.

Adequate temporary solution
I wanted an L-bracket in a hurry for my new Nikon Z5ii. My main need was to have a strap attachment point underneath the camera. The Pig Iron bracket arrived next day, fits the camera and provides the strap attachment, so it serves the immediate purpose.Besides those things, positives are:- It has a D-ring on the tripod screw so you don't need tools or a coin to mount or remove the bracket from the camera or tighten it up.- It fits well and does not interfere with opening and closing the monitor screen.- It definitely works as an Arca-Swiss mount L bracket.- Bargain price and the general quality seems good. The negatives that make it a temporary solution for me are:- The camera twists a little on the bracket while I'm walking around. It don't suppose the camera is ever going to come off the bracket, but it bothers me and it makes me think that it could allow the camera to droop just a bit when using the bracket in portrait orientation on a tripod.- The outside corner of the bracket has a sharp angle. It digs into the heel of my palm when I hold the camera and it digs into my hip when the camera is hanging by my side. The second of these is the more uncomfortable. I may try filing it to round the corner off.Negatives that may bother others:- The bracket prevents tilting the screen if you flip it all the way open. So shooting low down or high up using the screen will be difficult or impossible.- The bracket allows access to the microphone and headphone sockets but blocks the door for the USB and HDMI connectors.

Lightweight but sturdy
After looking at cheaper and more expensive alternatives I decided to go with this model as it was around the average cost. I have been using this on a Benro tripod head since purchasing in August 2018. This is a great product that fits perfectly on my Canon EOS R. It will limit the full use of the flippy out screen as the upright section fouls the screen from tilting when folded out and twisted beyond vertical - much the same for all the other L brackets out there. Not an issue for me as I tend not to use the camera low down or high up so do not need to angle the screen.
