QED Connect Speaker Cable with Pre-stripped Ends (6M)

Received this with purchase of Q Acoustics 3050i speakers. Used it to connect one speaker to my AV receiver. Connection easy, sound is fine. Wire's all copper, decent quality, but quite thin. Unsure of the gauge (not stated on packaging or wire). A bit expensive considering I've bought hefty, 12 gauge speaker wire with banana plugs, same length, better construction, for less.

I didn't order these and they are not listed as an extra item with the Q Acoustics 3050 speakers but they were sent anyway. The wire is cheap and very small gauge. Think cheap extension cord. This claims to be pre-trimmed which is true but it's only one cable, not two. Who buys one speaker cable? While you can easily pay thousands for speaker cables, this one is thirty at the time of this review, you can find MUCH better cables for the price, and ones with banana plugs already installed. If you get them free with speakers you purchased then use them but I sure wouldn't buy these.

The ends are not marked positive and negative which is maddening. No color coding. The wire is ultra thin and the tiny strands break easy. They are about as basic and cheap as you can get. They work just fine and they came in a nice 20 foot length so I am happy since they came free with the Q Acoustic speakers I bought.

They are marked with stamped lettering on one strand to help you maintain polarity from end to end. Just thought there would be 2 sets for 2 speakers.
