Presumably, you have to leave your XBox on all the time to use Game Pass on this handheld?

No. So you can use the xCloud app which is streaming from one of Microsoft’s own servers or you can use the Xbox App and play remote from your own console. For the latter you can’t have your Xbox in the energy efficient mode as you won’t be able to turn it on through the Logitech handheld. The cool thing about the Xbox is your console doesn’t actually turn on in remote mode. It is awake but the light isn’t on and is probably in a lower state with it only streaming. There’s a third party app that you will want to get called XBXPlay. It’s £5.99 but it allows you to increase the bitrate and resolution over the official app. I know, crazy that you can’t do that with the normal app.

Why would someone buy this streaming only handheld £330 when a Steam Deck is £350?

Personal preference, I prefer the longer battery life, I have pretty good internet wherever I go

Can i connect via lan cable? Does it support lan inface .?

No sorry only via WiFi but very fast speeds

Does my PS5 have to be pluged in while i use the Logitech G Cloud. Im a full time traveller so cant use my ps5 as much as i want

Yes your PS5 needs to be on, but only in rest mode. Then when you connect via the G cloud you are basically turning your PS5 on, and your G cloud is mirroring the screen. Then when finished your need to shut down to rest mode or you wouldn’t be able to connect again.
