Stride Rite SRT Xavier Sneaker (Toddler)

I love this shoe for the ease of putting them on and they are also perfect for my LO's wide feet! It has been really hard to find shoes that didn't squish his toes (other shoes started to make his big toe nail grow in) or weren't tight around his foot. He's currently 21 months and wearing them in a 7 1/2 wide (his first pair was a 7 wide). But both pairs opened up at seam on the top of the toe area either because the the thread is too weak or they are in the perfect place for friction where they would break. My LO wears them mostly indoors at daycare. He's not tearing them up at the playground. If you actually looked at the shoe it looks to be in great condition except for the broken thread on top of the toe. I'm thinking of superglueing it shut so they will last until he needs the next size up. I don't know what to do though because these are the best fit shoes for his feet. I never give reviews but thought it was important to write about this shoe and the flaw with the durability and/or location of the thread at top of the toe. :(

So you would think after the 4th pair I would have learned my lesson. I purchased these when my son was a size 7, he was clumsy new walker but I feel like if I am paying $46 for a pair of shoes they should hold up to a size 7w clumsy walker. The top os the shoe I thought was defective, after only having them for about 3 weeks and not wearing them too much the top of the shoe starting to rip from the seam. The Stride Rite took them back and exchanged them for me. The next pair after exchanging the "defective ones" or so I thought, did the same thing. The worker there told me a lot of people were having issues with that style. Love the look and they came in wide and fit my son great but not worth the $46 to fall apart. Beyond my better judgment when he was a 9 I purchased 2 more a brown pair and a blue pair. Yet again they came apart at the seem where the stitching was at the top of the shoe. This style was not very well made for toddlers.

These are wonderful shoes. My son has an orthotic insert for his left foot and stride rites are the only shoes that really work with the insert. They provide great support and they are obviously comfortable for him. These shoes cost $55 to $65 in my local shoe store and I got a great deal on them from Amazon. In order to check his size I went to a local kiddie shoe store and had his foot measured for both length and width. I felt guilty about not buying them right there at the store but not $30 guilty!

I found this shoe when my son was first starting walking. His foot was far too wide to fit most shoes, but this one fit *perfect*. This is now the third size I have bought (as his feet grow) and I absolutely love them. They are flexible, trim, easy for him to walk in, and wide enough to fit his feet! I would absolutely recomment these to anyone. Only problem I had with the last pair was that the sole was coming away from the toe area, but he used that pair a lot for over a year.

Great looking quality sneakers however wasn’t wide enough for my 1 years old’s feet so had to return.

my toddler is a little clumsy so i wanted to get him a shoe designed for young walkers. these have a flexible sole so my son can "feel" the ground and it has good ankle support. i like that these are velcro because his first pair were laces which were kind of a hassle at times. when you're dealing with a toddler, you need speed and convenience. i would definitely recommend the stride rite brand to any parent.

I bought this shoe for my oldest child and it has held up well enough for my younger one. The color (blue) was a little darker than expected, but the shoe itself is well made and lightweight, great for an active toddler. Wish it were available in larger sizes, as I would definitely buy again!

I really like these shoes. They are cute and fit well. My son doesn't seem to be able to get them off as easily as some other stride rite shoes.

Mon fils n'a toujours porté que des robeez et je les recommande à 200%.Il a très bien vite marché et est très stable. Il possède un très bon équilibre.Le pédiatre nous a dit que c'était parce qu'il avait les chevilles musclées et tenues.Les semelles sont souples mais sont épaissent comme une chaussure normale. Le principal atout est que les enfants sentent bien le sol tout en souplesse (vous pouvez aussi retirer la semelle intérieure pour contrôler la taille).Dommage qu'on ne puisse plus les acheter dans les magasins de France, ce sont vraiment de super chaussures.

Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach super. Die Schuhe sind optisch sehr schön und auch die Qualität ist super. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden damit.
