It lasts all day with minimal under eye smudging. Nice to have two options. Sharpen it! The pencil looks to be plastic, but it can be sharpened. I learned this after tossing my first Maybelline pencil when it was no longer sharp. Don’t be like me, sharpen it! It sharpens just like any other eyeliner pencil.

This product does not contain any microplastics and it works better than Stila gel eyeliner which is supposed to be the best. It does not draw a harsh fake line, but a softer, smudgy look and safe for waterline. It lasts all day, especially if I use eyeshadow over it. And the price is unbeatable. Forget the rest. This is a must buy and the price is dirt cheap for quality.

Got this in the color nude specifically for my lower waterline, the color is a bright nude, almost shocking. Not sure why it's called "Stay & Play" because it doesn't even "stay & work". Once applied there are gaps or breaks in the line of color. It also dissipates while wearing, especially in the corner near tear ducts, and I'm not a watery eyed woman. Absolutely zero stickiness, has a nice texture, brightens/widens my eyes(nude color), however it is not waterproof. Another thing that boggles my mind is I cannot figure out how to sharpen the pencil! I've tried multiple times and to no avail. Otherwise, I am quite pleased with the price point and consider this a decent product, especially if it doesn't skip and you're able to sharpen it.

What else can I say and what else can one ask for from an eyeliner? Others have sung the praises of this eyeliner. I read the reviews and made my purchase. Small gamble, essence has reasponable prices so I took a chance hoping I'll like this eyeliner too. I got mine yesterday, used it today, and I am very happy with my purchase. I also am now singing its praises.

Very pigmented and glides well whether on the upper eye lid or lower lash line. But it is not water proof, does not last long and smears after a few hours, especially when applying to upper eye lid.
