Garden plants are noticeably happier with a serving of this. I've been top-dressing vegetables and herbs with this when I notice growth is slowing down. Even though n-p-k numbers aren't high it does really seem to green things up, and it doesn't "burn" so it's been okay to use in hot weather. I also add a couple of cups to my potting mix for "heavy feeder" container plants like tomatoes. Very minimal smell, especially compared to other organic alternatives like manure. It smells more "earthy" than "poopy."

This worked great planting my vegetables in the spring.

I believe these castings are one of the best out there...to know this slow release product is giving my plants what they need to thrive, is more than what I can ask for. BTW, there's no smell, unlike other fertilizers.
