No purple wire
So after wiring up 30 of them, found out white is hot and black is ground. Now I get to buy another spool of wire and more splice connectors. Yup, I know, should have tested them first. Noob here

Cheap
These lights are not able to withstand even moderate heat. In the mild Texas spring the Adhesive started to come out. If you mount them even remotely close to a heat source engine/radiator like some of the pics show they're going to melt. The purple plastic cannot withstand even minimal heat areas. I don't recommend these if you're trying to add accents like shown in the pics. The heat just outside at 85ish had the Adhesive coming loose
